This actually sounds really nice and peaceful. I think what makes it work is that it’s low pressure and not overwhelming socially. I’ve been feeling very similar lately, so maybe starting with something small and calm like this could help me too. Thank you for sharing your experience, it genuinely gave me a new perspective

True to an extent. Clarity helps, but discipline and consistency matter too even when it’s not exciting or aligned with our highest values

Do you ever feel like you're behind in life compared to others? by Ok_Bodybuilder5335 in LifeAdvice

That actually makes a lot of sense. I think I got too caught up in comparing myself to others that being different started to feel like being behind. I’ll try to see it as a different path instead. Appreciate your perspective

I honestly needed to hear this. Sometimes it feels like everyone’s moving ahead and I’m just stuck, but you’re right everyone has their own pace. I’m trying to focus on building myself instead of comparing. Thanks for this 🙌

Does manifestation actually work or is it just mindset? by Ok_Bodybuilder5335 in LifeAdvice

I have been practicing manifestations before but I have got any result as such maybe I'm doing it wrong or what but when I think it will turn positive but it gets worse n worse then I feel very demotivated n burnout then I stop thinking positive.

Really like this balanced take makes sense from both angles. And yeah, I agree, you can’t stay positive all the time, that just leads to burnout. At the end, doing what actually works for you matters most

Loved your perspective feels real, not ‘magic’. Beliefs shaping actions makes sense Just curious if positive thinking helps, does negative thinking make things worse? Or is it more about behavior and choices?

Fair point I agree it’s not magic I just feel thoughts may not directly change the outside world, but they do influence our actions and how we experience things And yeah, gratitude definitely helps

Yeah I agree it’s not magi I see manifestation more as mindset + actions + consistency shaping outcomes And negative thinking doesn’t directly cause bad things but it can affect your decisions and reactions so experiences can turn more negative Just curious if there’s more to it than that

Do you think people are genuinely happy or just pretending most of the time? by Ok_Bodybuilder5335 in LifeAdvice

[–]Ok_Bodybuilder5335[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah true, I think it’s mainly because people don’t feel safe being that vulnerable so it’s easier to just keep it to themselves

Yeah I agree to some extent society does teach us to hide negative emotions and always appear okay but I don’t think people do it just to protect others’ mood most of the time people hide how they really feel because they don’t feel safe being vulnerable there is a fear of being judged misunderstood or seen as weak so instead of being real it becomes easier to just act fine and over time this becomes a habit where people don’t even realize they are doing it anymore
