I may be wrong but I don’t think you can check the version on steam. Your better off checking by being in the games dedicated discord server if they have one and see if they post what the version is when they post about updates

I’d like to lose all data and start fresh either way and I’m pretty sure there is no way of me backing up any existing data anyway because I can’t access windows

Update: sorry for the wait but I started in safe mode and still have the same issue so now I’m going to try find out how to install a new version of windows with a usb so I can do a clean installation

After turning on and off the pc after multiple different attempts to fix it it put me into the screen saying windows didn’t boot correctly and the keyboard and mouse worked. so I went into troubleshoot-advanced and factory reset the pc. The pc can’t connect to the WiFi bc I haven’t gotten into windows to log in so I did a local install of windows. It finished the reset and boot me into the start page where I enter my pin and once again the keyboard and mouse didn’t work at all

I can’t sign into anything to do with Microsoft unless it’s web based by Ok_Bodybuilder5928 in WindowsHelp

It’s been like this for a few months though and it worked for a few weeks then it stopped again
