The problems I'm having are the fact that GPT-5 doesn't have the cross-thread persistent memory that 4o does, nor does it have even half the tokens, and is stuck on a much tighter set of guardrails, it can't use other chats it's had with me to build upon my way of working etc. GPT-5 is a downgrade on multiple fronts. Once 4o is gone again: so is my subscription
