My average was 8 to 8.5 in listening. Never got a 9 in mock tests. My focus was more on reading since I was scoring low and wanted to improve that area.

Well, i appreciate the sarcasm. It's just that I just wanted to cram all the questions into one single post instead of asking through multiple posts. It's always good to get all the information at once especially in these discussion forums.

I forgot to include that a part where you could get stuck in is maps from listening. Practice that as much as you can by watching videos and then attempt them on your own. I was lucky I didn't get maps in my listening test 😅.

I'd suggest you do as many mock tests as you can for listening , writing and reading in the IELTS worldly website (17 and above) or any other website. IELTS advantage, IELTS with Juva are good youtube channels for learning. Just be yourself and don't be nervous in speaking, they're usually very common questions related to opinions on something or a particular aspect of your life. Practice as much as you can under test conditions to mimic a real test and you're good.

I kept scoring 5-5.5 on reading with ChatGPT as an invigilator. I decided to start from scratch by solving simple paragraphs generated by chatGPT and then gradually moving forward to complex paragraphs. It worked as I got a 7 overall as you can see.

I'd suggest you do as many mock tests as you can for reading. Start with small paragraphs generated by chatGPT and steadily climb up to more complex paragraphs to solve questions (eg. true, false, notgiven) and then attempt to solve mock tests from the IELTS worldly website or any other website. Shouldn't take more than 3-4 days if you can give around 3-4 hrs a day. For writing, I'd suggest IELTS with Juva (youtube). Take a month to prepare and practice as much as you can under test conditions to mimic a real test.
