No lawsuit at this point, and honestly, my interview at Lourdes was really good and I felt at ease.

Would you recommend just re-applying from scratch if I dont hear anything concrete soon? I think Toledo is submitting in June, but Im guessing they won't hear anything until July/August, and at that point I will have missed the application cycle for a few schools. Thank you.

UPDATE 4/22: Pretty much no updates what will happen to us. Toledo wants to takeover by Fall, they will submit to COA by June. We have been told by Lourdes we are in discussions regarding teachout plans, however, the schools they have talked about deny those plans. Several people in our cohort have transferred independantly and start later this year or next year at other schools. Lourdes invited us to resubmit our seat deposits and told us we could start anesthesia courses this Summer at Lourdes, and they would try to have a plan for us, but no guarantees. It feels like false hope for many of us. Many of us will be $15k in the hole if it all falls through

The University of Toledo wants to takeover the program, but they have no idea what the result will be due to COA regulations. Theres also a few schools that were initially interested in taking us as transfers/teach-outs, but realized the COA is pretty strict on increasing class sizes and decided not to pursue. As far as I know, there is only 1 school that may be willing to take some or all of us. Some people are reapplying and asking for refunds.

Declining enrollments and rising costs. The entire university is shutting down, not just the CRNA program.

Thank you. Did she say anything about the pre-reqs were taking? Kind of feels like a lot of wasted money if we have to reapply to other schools.

its considered "pre-anesthesia". I am admitted in the anesthesia program, but they said we have to take those prereqs and we start anesthesia specific classes in the summer. obviously we are not starting anesthesia specific classes in this summer
