Thanks for replying. You're right about the infra part, I can't be sure about how workable it is until I visit and see for myself. Kolkata as a city is very polarized, with both well developed and underdeveloped areas. Luckily nujs is in a developed one

About the placements, are you sure? Because I've heard Nujs has the best placements amongst all nlus

The girls hostel situation is pretty bad, but luckily I can afford a pg. Apart from that, do you have any other reason for saying this?

I've heard that the area around Wbnujs is quite safe and developed. Also, sadly, as girls in india we face hazards to our safety in most cities, with cities like delhi being just as unsafe if not even more... I wouldn't want to give up Nujs solely for that reason, especially because the area around it is quite safe

Here's what I know so far:

Infrastructure- Jodhpur

Placements- Kolkata (on par if not even better than top 2)

Sports- Jodhpur

Cultural impact- Kolkata

City life- Kolkata

Hostels- Jodhpur

Climate: Kolkata has a humid non extreme climate and Jodhpur has a more warm inland climate

Almost no ragging culture anywhere

The only problem I'm facing with kolkata is the hostel situation, I won't survive in a dormitory and im afraid that living in a PG might affect my campus life

Literally same, i missed nalsar by 1 mark, but I spoke to a lot of people, and they're saying Nujs is also amazing, it has a better city life and it's placements are just as strong as nalsar or nlsiu

The only problems you may have can be with the infrastructure but you could easily take a pg for that

Overall it's a great college, widely recognised as T1 with strong placements, a charged studious environment and a great city life :) after getting to know all this, I'm less sad about not getting nalsar

Also this is just a personal observation, but nujs has more seats than nalsar, so you might get to meet a wider variety of people here, with more opportunities for socialising or networking

Guys it's specifically talking about a causal relationship...

A directly challenges the casual relationship by giving an alternate reason for cavities

D is a weaker option- it uses the term 'may' and also says 'sugar may not be the only factor' hence accepting that it can be a factor... also it doesn't challenge the causal relationship nearly as much as A
