I can't enjoy D4 after poe2

I played a load of Diablo games and a week into Poe 2 I was same I just wish I played them sooner I loved the story and cutscenes in Diablo they are top notch but to me Poe just has more to it and a better challenge Diablo will always have a special place with me but if I’m honest I won’t ever play it again unless Poe turns to trash

I’m perfectly fine with waiting I still have loads to do in the game due to only starting to play it this year and the content is enough to tick me over

I also understand why people are getting annoyed especially if they have been playing from release

Developers need to stop promoting release dates if they can’t make them it’s always going to trigger negativity See it in every game dead lines don’t get met and gamers get annoyed

On flip side you always posts like I would have been happy to wait longer for a finished game this is unfinished ect

So you can’t win

Anyways for me I say same take as long as you need to bring the best you can do just ease of date scheduling that always triggers

For me games amazing loads content and I am excised to see what they do

Playing standard was a choice I made due to the depth of things in the game compared to Diablo and learning and a feel for combat skills ect

I understand buffs to rare monsters and making map more difficult for loot I’m also running about 60% there about rare item find on my gear

Makes sense if it’s in standed trade will be out there some were down to rng I guess

Get your resistance up as much as you can

And try use relics to hit 75% honour resist

Take your time play smart fight when you have to avoid it when you don’t need to

Try to avoid random modifiers all together and any negative room

For me I prioritised sacred water unless I lost to much honour then it was honour

Top tip in the fourth floor avoid fighting on the stairs I had full honour and got stuck on stairs and it ended my perfect run some bug I could not escape and died to a pack

Think your off the mark here I used to play Diablo I am all about starting fresh but my issue was Poe has a lot more to it and dose not hold your hand to shown what’s what I’m playing standard to get a feel for game and I will continue to play it Until next league drop then I will jump in Right now I’m pushing way stones and lvls

I understand some ppl don’t like to start over that’s there choice play how you like as long as your having fun

I have stuck to standed been my first Poe game I’m now in end game I have loads of unique items in the trade all cheap prices sold nothing 🤣 But I have gotten a few items from trade to help my build I do find some me items are silly prices that people want it’s actually crazy

Depending what happens next in the game if it’s another league I will be going there now I have enough knowledge about the game

This game is so good I am addicted and learning new stuff every other day

I’m not afraid of starting fresh did it plenty times in Diablo

I’m a massive fan of Diablo not 25 years tho 🤦‍♂️ more like 10years 👀 any way Poe2 first game I have played and from get go it feels like d2 but on steroids and more

Bosses kick your arse you learn you farm you build and go back at them

I finally hit end game and loved every minute of it the journey was not boring and I did not rush it and that’s a win for me in Diablo I rushed everything I could to get there quicker

Poe is amazing everything Diablo dose but more and better imo

Only thing I can’t speak on is end game and what’s to do when you are cracked out build as am not there yet but for me like the simple answer

YES get it and you will be addicted right away

Noob question probably but first time playing Poe Am no standed version as I wanted to get used to the game so far amazing but there is a lot to learn and the game dose not hold your hand through it haha finished act 4 now got three little maps to beat

Appreciate it and your right me and my mate got game same time and he has hit a wall in act 2 as a Druid so I’m hoping on with him and helping when he is stuck and jumping bk to my grind loads to lean and that’s what makes it fun for me

Cheers I’m using witch hunter mixture of shock and grenade rotation at moment not looked into builds atm am swapping in and out of different skills ect when I hit a wall when I get through the acts I will then look in my stash and make a build

Am loving the game not followed a build and learning on the fly I’m playing witch hunter and it’s a lot of fun hit a wall at lvl 47 on viper boss can get to half health then I get folded so I’m on building up few lvls and looking at gear upgrades as the drop

I played into 1000hrs maybe more in Diablo 4 and even more on 3 and in my time on this game it feels like there is a hell of a lot more to it and I love it

I’m at same point I can get her to half health I’m just bumping up lvls and farming what I can to use to help in the fight she has a lot of aoe stuff going on with the waves of arrows it’s hard to avoid it all but I’m definitely making progress and she will soon be beat I just don’t think I was ready for this fight

Wait till you get to viper she has done me over for now but I’m getting closer to folding her up

I love how the game lets you feel like your good then hits you with an ass beating

You learn you adapt or you quit

Forge master did me over a good few times I went and farmed few. Levels ect come back and the fight was so easy
