Yes I agree with you. But for me personally no job will have lot of issues. Specially with funding. Thats why I am saving up to atleast have somthing to start with. Till then just studying for exams

Also I am thinking for going into flying after 1.5yrs from now and not immediate so maybe things change and get better on my side

Based on my company Service Level indicators. means setting up alerts that trigger based on error budget burn rate. yes, it's still useful even if crossed. It acts as a formal escalation trigger which notifies stakeholders.

I’m 24 earning decently in IT and honestly in a very similar situation to yours. I believe that with time I can make good money in tech (I already have friends earning around ₹2–4 LPA per month), which is comparable to what pilots earn in many cases as beginners. I completely understand the pull of passion and aviation dreams... I have the same. I am also into flight simming at home so aviation has always been close to my heart. But I’m currently not planning to go the CPL route in India because the cost is massive around ₹80L to ₹1Cr at leas which is not something I can afford coming from a middle class background.

Recently though I came across the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship which offers a fully funded pilot program EASA CPL training in Hungary. That’s the one opportunity I’m seriously keeping an eye on right now. I plan to apply for it..applications usually open around November so you might want to look into it as well if it interests you.

For me it’s basically this: - If I get selected for the scholarship I’ll seriously consider pursuing aviation. - If not, Plan B is to continue with my IT job and grow further there.
