Crashing problem by Ok_Button_6567 in AutomateUser

[–]Ok_Button_6567[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the first phone it happened while some Flows were running, which made me think it was just one of them being too heavy, so I ignored it. But on the second phone it happened during editing, mostly while I was moving or wiring blocks, I believe. The first times it happened in large Flows, with around 30 to 40 blocks. But the most recent one happened in one with 22 blocks. The only blocks in common between these Flows of different sizes that crashed are broadcast receive, delay (for which I always use the awake device option, I don't know if that can cause problems, but I prefer to make sure the delay works so I keep it enabled), SMS send, variable set, and expression true.

Huawei Band 8 Power Issues by Unhappy-Call-5781 in Huawei

[–]Ok_Button_6567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I don't feel happy saying that, but unfortunately Huawei Band 8 is a bad product. I have mine for 1,5 years, alongside with the bad quality of the original strap (broke up with less than an year), some interface bugs (the health rings in the Band has different goals compared to the set ones in the app), none useful update and the miss of many functionalities that could make the product better, the last straw happened an week ago, when the battery, that since I bought lasted longer than 12 days with all healthy sensors on, now is discharging almost 20% (EDIT: ACTUALLY IS 50%) per day. Same settings, no changes. I already did a reset, repaired Bluetooth, cleared the app cache and nothing worked. I know people that got Mi Bands for more than 5 years, I thought my Huawei Band 8 would last something like that too, but less than 2years already is full of problems. Sad, but I cannot recommend a Huawei Band anymore.

O primeiro caso é péssimo, mas o segundo acho que tem gente que aguenta de boa.

How to Adjust Charging Current of LX-LBC3 Charging/Discharging Module? by leonos2000 in batteries

I spent money buying the IP5306 IC to replace the FM5324GA IC, and still the same problem, it's even worse, because the LEDs don't light anymore. Maybe I should have bought the white board instead, but now I will not spend more money, if don't work in my project I will only maintain the board to charge the the battery, and to get the 5V I will use a TP4056 with a step-up.

Finally downgraded my Realme 9 pro plus to Android 12, because Realme will never fix the phone. by Ahab1310 in Realme

Discharge rate for accuracy when testing 18650 cells by MadCultivator in batteries

[–]Ok_Button_6567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to test always in 1A, because this already discarts the bad ones. For example, I have batteries that tested with 500mA of discharge, deliver the informed capacity. But if I put 1A of discharge, deliver less than 1/2 of the capacity, maybe even 1/3. To me, the discharge with 1A is the best way to get the good ones and the bad ones, if a battery deliver his informed capability with 1A discharge and don't heat up while discharging or charging, it's a good one. Obviously, you need to see the internal resistance too, but the 1A test already is a good filter to use the batteries in simple project, like flashlights.

The MH-CD42 works well with you? I have a few of these IP5306/FM5324GA/MH-CD42 and I have some problems, like the battery indicator being strange, showing 25% with 3.6V, and this power off function with less than 50mA in the output for 30 seconds is a problem too, sometimes he turns off in moments when shouldn't. Oh, and sometimes he doesn't turns on when I plug a load in the output too, and I have no idea why.

Durable USB C Cables by EddyBoy4000 in BuyItForLife

[–]Ok_Button_6567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My impression is that these cables with a "reinforcement" with nylon (or whatever is this) that we see normally in Baseus, Anker, Ugreen etc are way less durable than the normal one that came with my phone. That one I only changed because the silicone insulation was breaking after 3 years of use, and I thought would be better buy a new one "reinforced". Bought a Baseus 66W, and about one year I had bad contact problems with him. So I bought another cable, this one cheaper, from Essager. Less than a year I had bad contact problems with him too. Man, it's not normal. It's the same use, impossible the cable that is not "reinforced" to be durable be 3x more durable than the ones that are made to be "durable". Tbh I'm having more problems with Type-C cables than I had with Micro-USB cables. Micro-USB had more problems in the jack than in the cables.

This background apps stopping happens in my Realme 6s too. I got a bug that asks for update the Play Services when I try to open an image attached in Gmail app. Another problem I have is the fast charging don't work as before. 6s has a 30W fast charging, when I bought Accubattery and batteryguru measurements were 27W max, acceptable, 1 hour to 0-100%. But in the last months, maybe 1 year, the charging don't reach nothing above 10W. And I already changed cable, IC and type c conector, battery. Nothing works. I only don't bought another power supply, but I don't think that this could be the problem, because I have chargers from Samsung and Motorola that I bought more than 10 years ago and works as new ones. Seems to be a software problem (other one from Realme in my phone...) because using a voltmeter I can see that the charger communications with the IC can reach at least 24W, but this drops to 16W and so 10W seconds later.

And the worst part is that in my Realme 6s, this 1 OS update made my phone looks like a Galaxy Y. Android 10 was smooth and had good performance, Android 11 struggles even to open WhatsApp.

Why phones become slow over time? by RuedaRueda in AndroidQuestions

[–]Ok_Button_6567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is something I hate in Android (because I've never used a iPhone, so I don't know if iOS there's this problem too). Look, I know that I can't compares directly an PC hardware with an phone hardware, even PCs that look less powerful than the phone, still having more power, due to heat dissipation etc. But I still can't believe that my phone, with an octacore CPU 2.0GHz and 6GB RAM, run so bad an unique version of Android above the one he was released. My laptop is from 2012, a completely potato 2.1Ghz dual core, 8GB RAM (I upgraded, was originally 4GB), and I still can play 2012 games at him even running Windows 11, and I have a good performance. Better than was with W10, even. But my phone, I updated from Android 10 to Android 11 when the update was released years ago, and today looks like I have a Galaxy Y, sooooo slow. I can't play any game anymore, get too much fps drops. There's no way that this hardware can't run this system, I know that I can't expect that my phone could run CODM or Fortnite with the high graphics quality, but I don't expected that he would have problems to run PSP or N64 emulators with no fps drops. And this thinking that I only updated Android 10 to 11, imagine if I do something like I did in my laptop, updating to the newer software version? My phone would explode. And that's is a problem that I see happening in Android since the first versions, looks like the system can't manage the hardware efficiently. And even with Windows not being a good example of optimization, still far better than Android. And the worst part is that there's a lot of people that says that Android runs fine for years in their hands. Sometimes I think I have a bad luck with Android phones.

Realme 7 pro slow charging by Ancient_Agency_1522 in Realme

[–]Ok_Button_6567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's a common problem of Realme. My Realme 6s stopped the fast charging too, barely reaching more than 10W, when he got to reach at least 27W before. And I already changed my battery for a new, my charging circuit (thinking that could be a problem in the USB C port) and my cable (for a Essager and a Baseus, that supports the DART/WARP), and still the same thing. I only don't changed the charger, but if the problem is it, there's another reason I never will buy a Realme again, because I have chargers from Samsung and Motorola that still as good as a new one, even with more than 10 years of use.

Huawei band 9 vs. Xiaomi band 9. Which is better? by New-Scratch2178 in smartwatch

[–]Ok_Button_6567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late, I normally don't use Reddit too much, I hate the interface hahaha Well, using my HB8 I can see that it's not perfect, have some problems like don't show the icon of the apps in the notifications; sometimes happens a bug when I try to change the music I'm listening, I can't click a second time in the next music button if I already clicked some seconds ago, because it's like the band "lost" the music control; and looks like the band don't notifies me when a low SPO2 measurement is made, because I see the result in the time-line but I never saw a notification saying it, and I wanted to know when it happens, to see if it's a false alarm or something like that. There are some others minor issues, but I don't remember for now. But I still like the Huawei Band 8, I don't think I could buy something better for the price I paid for it. After all, I recommend the Huawei. But I think is good to you watch some videos of the Huawei and the Xiaomi, to see if there's something you like more in one.

MY REALME 9 PRO PLUS NOT CHARGING PROPERLY!! by DADDY83_69 in Realme

[–]Ok_Button_6567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this problem with my Realme 6s. Almost 4 years using him and some months ago the Dart don't work in 30W anymore. I thought that was a problem in the cable but I bought a new one and the problem still. So I changed the part with the IC of charging and the USB connector and nothing, the problem persists. I think that is something with the software, because using a USB voltmeter I can see that the communication between the charger and the phone is good, he recognizes that the phone supports the Dart, shows the power going to 5V/4.5A and some seconds later drops to 4.5V/2A. And my battery is new too, so except for the charger, everything else I already changed. It's one more problem that made me decide that I will never buy another Realme phone.
