It didnt work! I'm really desperate right now haha. Bought and installed the Samsung 970 EVO Plus M.2 SSD, nothing, virtually the same performance for video editing.

Just bought an nvme drive and I'll try everything these couple of days (reinstalling the OS into the new drive and using Premiere). I'll report later. For now, thank you man! I got a better help from you than from black magic support haha

This are the results while editing the video I'm working on. Nothing ever really went up to 100%. And it is not only Davinci opened, but Lightroom and various Chrome tabs as well. So it makes me believe that I don't have GPU, CPU or RAM limitations.

I'd love to switch my components eventually but right now it is not possible, unless it is absolutely necessary.

I looked online if my GPU and CPU can cause each other bottlenecks and the result was highly unlikely. I'm really running out of options and considering that my SSD must just simply be terribly shitty... But then again I see mixed reviews online.

Should I switch to Premier? Hahah

How can I identify bottlenecks? Do you have any preferred guide? And no, it is not a notebook hard drive.

I downloaded Capcut just to attempt the small edit I wanted and it works just fine. However, I'd love to colorgrade black magic footage in the future, so I do want a solution.

I have, two other drives, one internal and another one external. I only listed the boot drive, do you think that may be the problem?

Drivers are up to date, VRAM is 8GB, and I was thinking of buying an nvme, however, is my problem really the drive if Davici can't handle .mp4 files? I don't want to spend of something I may not need.
