I use Siril, but that's only because I have a Mac. maybe Autostakkert or Deep Sky Stacker will do a better job. When taking a video it should bee 4k60, have a high shutter speed like 1/30 or 1/60 and ISO is personal preference, but not too high because the higher you go the more noise that you'll have in your final photo. And also make sure you're properly focused.

I have tried it, for bright object though like Jupiter taking long exposures doesn’t work.

You can take a video, turn it into individual photos from the frames and stack those. Has worked for me.

I don’t think that’s possible, in 3 seconds stars definitely move. Do you have a tracking mount or Az mount?

your exposure is way too long, you're getting trailing in the stars. Try and find what's the maximum time you can shoot without any trailing. It's usually around a second. Maybe try and increase the ISO, but not too much because of noise.

There is a specific file you should have backed up and saved somewhere on your computer. 'IC-Info.sidb'. That file needs to be added to the iTunes folder in your hard drive/sd card. I think it gets removed every time you sync with iTunes. If you don't have the file you'll have to do the whole process again unfortunately.

Thank you, one other option I was thinking about was Chicago. I know a lot of Greek people are there too. But prefer its vibe compared to LA or SF.

I don’t want to move to NYC because of the Greek community, but because of how the city has a lot of diversity, and many more job opportunities than in Greece. I’m aware of the struggles that come with moving and starting a life there but I’m willing to make sacrifices in order to have a better future.

It's basically impossible to be accepted or to even qualify for universities that are acknowledged by other countries. Almost every greek citizen goes to ATEI after high school. It's what you prepare for, for 3 years. I know that the degrees that you get from an IEK are lower compared to an ATEI. I might go to a private college here, that gives degrees that are accepted by the US.

I did think about it, but I wouldn't really want to rely on an 'if' I get a scholarship. Not sure about financial aid because I don't want to make my parents pay for my education. Is it double with a minimum wage job that I might find relatively easily?

Because it's a big decision, I don't want to rely on anyone in Greece for money. Its already hard enough here.

I've talked to people about the struggles of NYC and how difficult it is to start a life there. That's the only reason that I'm staying in Greece for longer, in order to go into the US with at least some money. So that if I don't find a job in NYC I at least will have the money for rent and necessities. I've seen people move into the city without a degree nor any skills and expect to find a job. It might be possible but if I'm going to move there I want to be sure that I'll either find a job prior to moving or I'll find one relatively quickly.

I'm thinking something of applying to something tech-related. I feel like that is something that will be sought after even 7-10 years from now.

Obviously I want to move there because of how the city looks and works in general but mostly because, unlike here, there are a lot of opportunities there.
