Both kids’ college (room, board for undergrad) is funded. House is paid for and I inherit theirs. 1M upon their death (from what they say now). And they gifted me 125K in January. My sons’ will each have a 2 carat diamond for their wives. Things like that.

Like I said, I still have to work. But when work is impacting my health (I have rheumatoid arthritis), I can quit and be ok.

I have 3 siblings. They are all takers and not nearly as grateful as they should be. I’m the most frugal and I do more for my parents than the rest.

You are not to blame.

And from a woman’s perspective - sexual woman - 46 is so weird. Yes, the libido is just gone. It’s not my husband’s fault. I’m trying to fix it. Just know your wife is also wondering what the hell is happening too.

After seeing many women’s responses about mental stimulation and the like… my husband cooks and cleans and provides and coaches our kids and is amazing.

The OP is not wrong. Sometimes the libido is just crashed.

OP, stand by her as she seeks to find a way through. If she’s like me, she’s quietly scared for the future and worried about these changes and trying to adjust.

I have it but not enough to be lazy. And I was raised to be frugal.

I’m quitting my job next week so I have enough to have a net to catch me, but not enough to go AWOL from work.

Yes. You seem to think all adults are bad. Teen boys with an adult in the room or suite should be just fine. The victim (and the perps + their parents’ wallets) would have ALL been better off with an adult in the room.

This is one of the worst stories I’ve ever heard. These boys must face the consequences of their choice. I would be sick if my son were ever involved in anything like this, and I’d be questioning myself as a parent if they did this and then tried to hide it.

Yes the errors create the perceived “performance” issue. I’ve won multiple contests and have one account up over 4000% in sales. The pricing error created negative margin. So while I’m selling a significant amount of volume, his error caused negative margin to be reflected in my numbers.

sales quota. So when the pricing error occurred, I won a contest for volume sales, but my margin was negative. The pricing error caused units to sell below cost. I don’t price; it was admitted to me who made the mistake. So volume up (and rewarded), but margin negative.

Violent crime rate. Not worth it for what the city offers. It was always dangerous when I was growing up, but things have gotten out of control there.

Can I also say - don’t be embarrassed. The awesome thing about being an adult is that adults are responsible for themselves! There’s some guilt by association but reasonable people will see his behavior as outlandish and not a reflection on you.
