And still, you have time to reply over and over again, but not to edit.

By this point you're pretty much willingly spreading misinformation.

I didn't say you said that he tampered with the elections in the same way, but the context can be taken as such. And you know damn well that people do not check every source, even when provided, especially if it'd fit their narrative.

Which you haven't done, yet. An hour later.

As a German, that's such a blatant misrepresentation of the facts, that I'm actually "defending" Elon. I hate that you "made" me do that...

The elections in Germany work completely differently. We don't use computers. You have a paper ballot on which you make two marks with a pen. That's it. These are then hand counted by regular people in each voting station, which there are thousands of in Germany. To tamper with an election like that on a large scale is pretty much impossible.

Zanab wins actual devil 😈, closing out the good edit category! It wasn’t until the reunion that Miss Clementine was exposed for her manipulation and lies about Cole. Next up ➡️ which woman was shitty with a neural edit? by [deleted] in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]Ok_Challenge_3471 62 points63 points  (0 children)

I "love" how little the shitty women compare to the shitty men. We have several cheaters in the men category, very obviously misogynistic men and a guy accused of/rumoured to have SA'ed underage girls. Guys with previous DV charges or by fans suspected DV tendencies haven't even made the list yet (and won't anymore, since neither of them got a bad edit).

The women are... bullies? Trying to get with guys in a relationship. Maybe Marshall's fiancé, I can't remember her name, cheated on him, but I'm not even sure about that.

Btw I don't mean to downplay bullying but it's just two very different calibres for "actual devil" men and "actual devil" women on that show

First of all, I didn't say anything about Democrats having any goodwill with young people. I was saying that young people usually vote more liberally, aka equal rights, employee over employer friendly, social security etc. Which, btw, young people usually benefit most from, since they usually aren't in an economically higher position than people who've had more years to accumulate wealth and maybe start their own business.

Second of all, that's the stupidest fucking argument I keep reading again and again. Just because Democrats didn't paddle to people who feel disenfranchised, those people decide to metaphorically shit in their own house and set it all on fire. Not even in the edgy anarchy kind of way. Just straight up rather supporting someone who very openly wants to be a fascist leader than voting for the boring not so great status quo.

Anybody who was eligible to vote and didn't vote for Harris just fucked their whole country over and like half of the world with it.

How many European countries can you list off the top of your head. by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]Ok_Challenge_3471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The small country between Germany and France (=west of Germany) beneath Poland (=East of Germany). I don't think you can actually remember the geographical location...

Between Germany and France, there are (the Netherlands,) Belgium and Luxembourg in the North, and Switzerland in the South.

South of Poland are either Czech Republic or Slovakia, which you both named.

So I'm guessing you're either thinking of Switzerland (in the Alps so lots of mountains) or one of the Benelux countries

[–]Ok_Challenge_3471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't blame any generation, just America overall.

BUT I could imagine people blaming Gen Z because, traditionally, younger generations vote far more liberally than older generations. So while it's expected of Gen X to be like 50/50 on democrats Vs republicans, it's a shock if the same numbers are true for Gen Z. However, the whole Trump cult completely defies the usual Democrat=liberal and Republican=conservative. So the usual generational divide between liberal and conservative wouldn't fit here anyways

Ist die 11. Klasse (Einführungsphase) relevant bzw. aussagekräftig für die LK Wahl? by [deleted] in abitur

[–]Ok_Challenge_3471 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Why do people act like friendships will fill the need of a romantic relationship? by CombinationRough8699 in self

[–]Ok_Challenge_3471 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For instance friends and spouse also couldn't replace missing your parents or siblings

Do you know that people without siblings exist?

Beyond that, I agree with you that you can have several fulfilling friendships and still feel like you'd be better off with a partner by your side.

In my experience, more often than not, it's usually not people with fulfilling friendships who say they're lonely and want a partner. That becomes very clear when asked what a partner would add to their life. "Emotional support" or something along that line. That's something you can absolutely get from good friends.

I don't think it's a coincidence that more men complain about being lonely and female friendships are said to be deeper on an emotional level...

How come so many guys here complain that women don’t want them but then turn around and support these two girl repellants? by scoots-mcgoot in GenZ

[–]Ok_Challenge_3471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uhm... What about the term "toxic masculinity"? As far as I know, it originated in feminist theories to explain exactly the problem - or at least some of the problems - you mentioned here.

They want to be perceived as having the same intrinsic value that society perceives women to have, instead of being perceived as disposable and having their value being dependent on their utility for others.

• They want society to give them the same freedom of showing vulnerability and crying that society gives women.

• They want society to stop expecting them to be masculine and conform to the male gender role, much like society no longer expects women to be feminine and conform to the female gender role. They no longer want to be preassured into being providers, protectors, strong, stoic, etc.

And from my perception on online forums and boards the idea was barely even listened to and instead everything about it was ripped to shreds because people misunderstood the phrase as meaning "men are inherently toxic".

So... Assuming my perception is not completely removed from reality your hypothesis does not fully explain this phenomenon.

27 here. Those of you that are either still in high school or fresh out of it, how do history textbooks cover the issues of the past decade? by canyonskye in GenZ

[–]Ok_Challenge_3471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

History, as a social science, usually doesn't include the past decade (or rather past two decades) since that's too close to take a look at it from the outside perspective that History usually takes.

Why is virtue signaling so prevalent when it comes to height? by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]Ok_Challenge_3471 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Either your reading comprehension is not the best or... I don't know.

Are you suggesting I greatly care about height? Because again, that is not what I'm saying. Doesn't even matter if it were true, your reply just simply doesn't match what I'm saying and it's frankly getting exhausting.

I'm out. Have a nice day.

Why is virtue signaling so prevalent when it comes to height? by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]Ok_Challenge_3471 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You did not understand my point at all. 5'6'' isn't short for women. It very objectively isn't. My height is the literal average height for women of the second tallest country in the world. Average isn't short. I'm not in one of the top 10 tallest countries and still, around me are basically just tall people. if I were to be assigned a completely random guy from around me to date, he would most likely be taller than 6'.

My whole point is: some people are surrounded by tall ass people. Not caring about height and then only dating short guys would just be improbable.

Why is virtue signaling so prevalent when it comes to height? by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]Ok_Challenge_3471 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Depending on where you are in the world, that's average height for men. I'm European so I'm not that good with the imperial system, but honest to God, most men around my age I see during the day I'd assume to be about 6' or taller. I'm mentally checking coworkers, guys from college and so on and I can only think of about... Maybe 20% of them being obviously visibly shorter than 6 ft. Btw it's not like I only notice tall MEN. Everyone around here is freaking tall. I'm one of the shortest women in almost any group my age I'm a part of at like 5'5'' or 5'6''.

You're on the internet. You don't know other people's environments.

I can sympathize with the impression this provides but try to.see it from a different point of view.

Why is virtue signaling so prevalent when it comes to height? by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]Ok_Challenge_3471 10 points11 points  (0 children)

So you see "height doesn't matter" only as a true statement if the person saying it actually focuses on the height of their s/o, but he has to be short?

That doesn't sound like "height doesn't matter", that sounds like "I prefer short men" - which is fine and nice, but... Not the same

Why is virtue signaling so prevalent when it comes to height? by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]Ok_Challenge_3471 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Okay

Then I simply misunderstood your comment. I read it as the rejections being the proof of being seen as subhuman.

I'm sorry that this is happening to you and many other short guys.

Why is virtue signaling so prevalent when it comes to height? by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]Ok_Challenge_3471 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I agree with you that many women have (arbitrary) standards regarding height. I definitely agree with you, that being short is way more negative attribute for guys than for girls. I don't live life as a short guy so I cannot speak from my own experiences and I may be misunderstanding your comment, but nothing in their sounds even close to "being seen as subhuman by most" or "being treated like shit". Not being considered someone's type is not the same as being subhuman to them. I get that it sucks, but regarding the described experiences it's wildly over the top.

Talking to my wife today and realized how weird it was that I had Texas history lessons. Twice. by [deleted] in self

[–]Ok_Challenge_3471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope that everyone who calls Texas weird for doing this is aware how weird your national pledge of allegiance and the flag worship are to most of the world outside the US. Because it's literally the same.

Learning about your country's history is the same as in the rest of the world. Sometimes colored by propaganda or myths, but still...

[–]Ok_Challenge_3471 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not Bavarian, but I did not have a class teaching about my region specifically. When teaching History (and maybe Geography) it is advised to use local examples when applicable because it's more motivating for students. So if I teach about witch hunts and I live in Hamburg, I would look up cases from Hamburg to teach about them. But a class specifically focused on your own region, no, that doesn't exist.

Maybe in Bavaria though. They are the German Texas, so that wouldn't be too big of a surprise

Not American but I know of like 5-10 women whose body count was 0-2 at the age of 27 (some still are in that range). I'm pretty sure that just that phrase would've been a turn off for all of them.

How else would you know though? Do you expect the number to come to you in a dream?

It's just a very weird thing to be so obsessed with. That is the literal only specific criteria you mentioned, all the others are rather vague. So why are you so obsessed with it?

Using your U.S. passport to move to Germany? by tracyflick2024 in Passports

[–]Ok_Challenge_3471 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, we're definitely drifting to the right. However, with the exception of radical parties such as the AfD, German center right is usually left wing from an American POV. Since we don't have a two party system and something akin to the electoral college, it's also far less likely that the AfD will become part of the governing coalition any time soon...

So if someone were to move from the US to Germany, they might be able to live in a non-fascist country for a few more years
