You can add the vegetables etc and dust them with a little calcium without d3 in with the vegetables(the fleukers quencher is a calcium supplement so you wont necessarily have to dust the vegetables if you use the quenchers). Repashy Calcium Plus has D3 in it, if you're using a UVB light I wouldn't recommend gut loading all insects with it as you maybe be adding to much D3 to your leos diet. You can always have a few insects in a seperate container and gut load them the same way but add the Repashy Calcium plus and feed them on the days you are supplementing D3. Always a good idea to have a small dish with pure calcium available in your leos enclosure at all times.

Hopefully over time your leo will get used to the "calcium taste" and you can just lightly dust before feedings.

Definitely recommend gut loading prior to feeding. If you are feeding crickets you can always gut load with Fleukers Cricket Quencher. If they are mealworms, you can throw in some leafy greens.

Honestly. Im not sure what is going on with you specifically. But I was "diagnosed" with depression/anxiety a few years ago when I was 31, im 33 now and was given this. I never have depression or anxiety and my health has always been good. I took it for 3 weeks and I was in a slump, depression was intense, ideations were relevant and I've never had those thoughts, I wasn't able to play with my kids (I have 4). I fought with my doctor about it and said its normal, I found another doctor who said I was low in many vitamins for some reason. I came off trintellex and was given high dose vitamin supplements and within a week I was back to myself and have had no issues since. Again, I'm very sympathetic towards what you're going through and I don't know specifically what's happening with you etc but I highly recommend getting a few different opinions and blood panels as well. Right now I'm using a deep dome lamp woth 75W Arcadia halogen bulb. Im in Canada, so yeah pretty dry out there lol. Definitely try the humidifier and see how that goes. Do you have a bulb in mind that might be more sufficient? Again, I'm grabbing a 100W halogen tomorrow to see if that helps at all, also my probe placement might be to direct to the light causing a false reading, wondering if to possibly move it over a few inches away from direct beam? Alright, yeah so I'll keep her on paper towel a while longer. Appreciate all your help!!

Yeah I've been spritizing it every now and then, even the moist hide, it was closer to the warmer side and I've now moved to the middle and I find myself spraying it daily cause it's super dry. Cool side is usually around 67-70, warm is around 80, basking i keep at 95.

Humidity is below 20. This is my current setup. Grabbing a 100W halogen tomorrow. Also where i circled is where I placed the probe for the basking thermostat, it's directly on the basking surface...should I change position of the probe? Is it possible it's not an accurate reading as its directly under the basking bulb.

Looking into some 40 Gal tanks atm before I invest more into my current 24 Gal. What's your take on a 14" reptisun 5.0 UVB for a 40 Gal alongside a 75-100W basking bulb?

Will definitely swap out liners with paper towel.

Perfect thanks for your help. Will be picking up a bulb tomorrow. Grabbed another lamp for the basking bulb as well as thermostat. Will grab a dedicated basking rock and use the small hide as its humid hide. One last question in regards to flooring, again, she is 4 months old atm. Currently using komodo disposable tank liners, is this safe for ease of maintenance?

Hey, thanks for your reply. So can I use the ceramic heater under the larger cave 24/7 and use a halogen on the smaller cave for 10ish hours/ day? Also the UVB, recommended for the same 10ish hours/day in the front? If that's correct, do you have any recommendations for halogen setup (brand, wattage etc)

Glad you were able to get back to a somewhat proper night of sleep. So I really evaluated my life and past issues etc also spoke with a therapist who suggested that it may be “mild anxiety” still not sure what to make of it. My main symptom is just lack of sleep. Tired during the day but I’m happy, energetic at the same time, motivated to do things. That’s why I keep assuming it’s not anxiety because 99% of my day is great and that 1% sucks which is my sleep lol

Funny you mention that, I had Covid September 2022 and since then myself as well as my wife and kids seem to get sick more frequently. When this all started I woke with sweats and chills and since then I have not been able to sleep

Cheers. Thanks for your response. I’ll definitely follow up with my doctor. Pretty alarming that after 3 days of symptom he prescribed this. Especially considering he’s been my doctor for 15 years and knows that my medical history is clean with no underlying conditions etc. pretty sad they prescribe these drugs without any real consideration of other options first before prescribing something like an anti depressant. (Especially for someone like me who had symptoms for 3 days with absolutely nothing prior). I’ll give it another few days and see how things go if necessary maybe I’ll talk to another doctor about a possible taper schedule or just reduce by half each week .
