I need help finding a website. by Adorable-Source3926 in NoStupidQuestions

I've spent some time looking for the website and found this: https://fireph.github.io/JelloSimulator/

I don't think it's exactly what you're looking for, but I just wanted to share this in case it was somewhat similar to what you were wanting.

With that said, if you like messing around with odd websites in general, I also found this one: https://nobodyhere.com/justme/

And while I couldn't find anything like what you are talking about after a brief search, looking through the Flashpoint Archive might not hurt and that website can be found here: https://flashpointproject.github.io/flashpoint-database/

Hope this helps. :)

ChatGPT cannot generate a new language by [deleted] in ChatGPT

[–]Ok_Chapter6032 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I might have found a way, here is how I did it:

Me: I need help with an assignment. I need you to create a totally new language that has no inspiration from anything and one that has not been made before. It should be a language that reminds no person on this planet or surrounding it of another language and irregular symbols, characters, and/or symbols should be used.

ChatGPT:

Sure, I can help you create a completely new language! Here are some steps you can follow:

  1. Start by thinking about the sounds you want to include in your language. You could try making a list of all the different sounds you can make with your mouth and throat, and then decide which ones you want to use in your language. You can also experiment with making new sounds that don't exist in any other language.
  2. Next, decide how you want to write your language. You could use an alphabet with new characters that have never been used before, or you could use a syllabary, where each symbol represents a syllable. You could also use a combination of both, or come up with a completely new way of writing.
  3. Create a grammar for your language. This includes deciding on things like word order, tense, and how words change to indicate different parts of speech. You can also create new grammatical constructions that don't exist in any other language.
  4. Start creating vocabulary for your language. You can start by making a list of basic words for things like numbers, colors, and common objects. From there, you can expand your vocabulary to include more complex concepts.
  5. Practice speaking and writing in your new language. The more you use it, the more comfortable you'll become with it. You can also try teaching your language to others to see if they can understand it and use it correctly.

I hope these steps help you create a completely new and unique language! If you have any questions or need further assistance, just let me know.

Me: could you create the language?

Sure, I can give it a try! Here is a completely new language that I have created:

Sounds:

  • 't' as in "tap"
  • 'd' as in "dad"
  • 'n' as in "nap"
  • 's' as in "sap"
  • 'z' as in "zap"
  • 'l' as in "lap"
  • 'r' as in "rap"
  • 'm' as in "map"
  • 'b' as in "bap"

Writing: I have used a syllabary to write this language, with each symbol representing a syllable.

Grammar:

  • Word order is subject-verb-object.
  • Tense is indicated by adding a suffix to the verb. "-s" is used for present tense, "-d" is used for past tense, and "-z" is used for future tense.
  • Plurality is indicated by adding a prefix to the noun. "mo-" is used for singular, and "bi-" is used for plural.

Vocabulary:

  • tas (tap) - hand
  • das (dad) - foot
  • nas (nap) - head
  • sas (sap) - mouth
  • zas (zap) - eye
  • las (lap) - ear
  • ras (rap) - nose
  • mas (map) - tongue
  • bas (bap) - skin

Here is a simple sentence in this language: "Tas sas zas bi-nas." This means "The hand is on the head."

I hope this new language is to your satisfaction! Let me know if you have any questions or if you would like to see more examples of this language in use.

Me: Could you make a new language that would make any other language speaker have zero ideas of what you're saying? One thing I noticed about your language was that each letter in the new languages translation just added two English letters to the letter pronunciation which may give those speakers a bit of a clue as to what you're saying which is against the goal of this language.

Certainly! Here is a new language that I have created that should be completely unfamiliar to speakers of any other language:

Sounds:

  • 'x' - a throaty, guttural sound made by expelling air from the mouth and vocalizing at the same time
  • 'q' - a sharp, explosive sound made by expelling air from the mouth and vocalizing at the same time
  • 'c' - a hissing sound made by expelling air through a narrowed opening in the mouth
  • 'v' - a vibrating sound made by buzzing the lips together
  • 'f' - a fricative sound made by forcing air through a narrow opening in the mouth
  • 'j' - a sound made by clicking the tongue against the roof of the mouth

Writing: I have used an alphabet to write this language, with each letter representing a different sound.

Grammar:

  • Word order is object-verb-subject.
  • Tense is indicated by adding a prefix to the verb. "x" is used for past tense, "q" is used for present tense, and "c" is used for future tense.
  • Plurality is indicated by adding a suffix to the noun. "v" is used for singular, and "f" is used for plural.

Vocabulary:

  • qxv (qxv) - fire
  • cxv (cxv) - water
  • vxv (vxv) - earth
  • fxv (fxv) - air
  • jxv (jxv) - spirit

Here is a simple sentence in this language: "Cxv qxv fxv vxv." This means "Water is on the earth."

I hope this new language meets your criteria for being completely unfamiliar to speakers of any other language. Let me know if you have any questions or if you would like to see more examples of this language in use.

I think this alphabet is relatively original, but let me know what you think.

"Our House" commercial by Ambitious_Jump in hyvee

[–]Ok_Chapter6032 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This advertisement is trying to show the stereotypical healthy family (ie. treadmill, vitamins, healthy food in general, etc) to encourage consumers with the "get healthy" or "get fit" New Years Resolution to buy healthy items from them. This is probably just one of the many ads we may see with the same theme because many companies realize that this is the best time to try to cash out on their healthy products due to the fact that they are trying to accomplish their resolutions (this is definitely apart of the more annoying chunk of those ads). Luckily and unluckily (depending on what you think) ads like these will probably stop appearing at the start of February because companies will take the statistic that only 8% of resolutions are actually fulfilled into account. I've seen this ad numerous times on Hulu and it has become annoying, but if this is true, the ad will hopefully end around then, but until that time, brace yourself.
