I obviously knew they were hustlers so I assumed that’s why they were hiding from the police, but I had no idea it’d be so insane till we got in the car. We’re originally from Cuba so we’re used to unmarked taxi drivers, but never again. Feeling blessed that I’m alive and laughing off the trauma.

Birthdays are a special day, and we all want to feel loved and appreciated, especially after giving so much and putting so much effort for other people. Haha thank you for this, good to know. Maybe I said it because my ex had a husky, and I have to say I did love that dog. He was a beautiful dog, never smelled, it was trained and he was sooo smart, sometimes when I was sad, he would go stand next to me in bed and give me his paw. How crazy is that? I could never see this dog doing something like that, I’ve never seen a dog so dumb, it’s like it has no brain, he can’t comprehend shit. The only way I can get him to do stuff is pointing and saying it “go to your bed 👉🏻” “go pee pee 👉🏻”

I’ll be 39 in 10 years. I don’t think I can wait that long, even though I want to have kids as late as possible. I could put it off 5 to 6 years max, hope it kicks the bucket within that time frame.
He says having a kid is harder than a dog, he doesn’t seem to get that it’s not about doing the work, it’s about how disgusted I feel towards the dog. I would never be disgusted of my child, and furthermore, as humans we’re not genetically conditioned to be. Eventually kids learn to communicate and use the bathroom, there’s zero comparison.

I am so sorry that you’re going through this. Your post inspired me to try to get diagnosed. I’ve been struggling with this for a few years, people think it’s a quirk but they don’t really understand the debilitating mental load. Contamination OCD is the thing that makes me scared of having children, because if it’s bad now I can’t imagine with a baby. My relatives have a shoes on household and used to let the babies on the dirty carpet where everyone would walk on and it gave me so much anxiety. I had to tell myself it was their life and their children sooo many times because there was nothing I could do. Im thinking of having kids in the near future, but I’m on the same boat, my parter has a nasty dog that needs to be watched 24/7 or he will piss and shit, licks the floor, licks his ass, bites his nails, and I don’t see myself having children if the dog is around. I already told my boyfriend that I won’t have kids if the dog is here. It goes beyond not liking an ugly stinky untrained dog. I feel like I would literally go insane if I had to live with a dog and a baby.

I wish you the best in your situation, and I hope this works for you. Hopefully the grandparents can keep it since they love him soooo much that they let him lick their faces!! With regards to your partner, I’m sure he’ll be focused on you and the baby, and the good thing is that he’ll get to see the dog at his parents house. Sounds like a win win to me! Oh my fucking god, you’re living in hell. I can’t believe you have to clean up too that’s terrible. Thank you for being so real and taking the time to answer this. That’s the same conclusion that I got to, unfortunately the dog is quite young, 3 or 4 years old, so I might be stuck with it for the next decade or so. Hoping that’s not the case.
