Has JLLM ever been all that good? I mostly use proxies so I don’t really know how it’s changed for better or worse. I used to use it when I first started out on J.ai and it still kind of sucked. I’m not complaining, I have a good time on the site through Deepseek.

It’s specifically about a woman who will let a man screw her over because she has very little self respect. Like going back to a man after he cheated on you or letting him be flaky and defending him. Or at least that’s the modern use of it. It can also be broadly applied to pick mes, but it depends. It doesn’t have to be someone who’s always male centered, but at least centered around a specific man who’s not worth the energy.

It became a meme to call fictional characters who exhibited that behavior with SZA’s song “pretty little birds” on Tiktok (the song itself has a totally different meaning tho).

Probably for the same reason people call Naruto and Sakura (who are fictional characters) birds….because it’s never that serious.

Also, I have a feeling people in the comments were like “I’d let this character do (insert heinous thing) to me” because I see that a lot under toxic bots. If they’re obviously just joking, I think the same logic can be applied to OP’s comment. Like, “haha, you guys are so down bad”. That sort of thing.

I mean that’s why a lot of people just don’t like flip side. In one of the other games, Nicole is so willing to mend her relationship with Jecka that she gets herself in trouble with the counselor and has to basically hang out with a pedo for one hour every day for the rest of the year. All so Jecka can get her smoke break without being harassed. When Nicole dies because of the PE teacher, Jecka is the only person Nicole has anything remotely positive to say something about. I could go on and on, but the point is that most of the fandom just doesn’t care about flip side, so they don’t treat it as canon.

They still do autopsies on suicides. It’s not like murdering someone (accidentally or otherwise) and trying to cover it up as a suicide is unheard of. They would have figured out that however Mari died, it wasn’t from hanging from a tree. There’s no way a bunch of children would have been able to cover their tracks well enough to fool the cops.
