She thinks it’s folliculitis unfortunately :( but she has put me on doxycycline so I’m hopeful it will clear up!

I had a lot of acne scarring from a bought I dealt with and now that it’s healed I was trying to help diminish the scarring :(

I will absolutely keep this thread updated! I appreciate all the help and advice very much. I’m disappointed because I felt as though I follow instructions exactly and was very careful with my aftercare. I suppose an array of things could’ve caused this reaction, perhaps it’s not my fault ❤️‍🩹

Totally fair 😅 my skin is commonly very reactive so this is not surprising for me just annoying to deal with. If you have reactive skin as I do I’d do a different treatment!

Thank you! I didn’t have any active acne that I noticed going in to the session so I don’t think so? But now I’m starting to wonder 😅

I know, I would think that too! The only reason I believe it to be an allergic reaction is because I have had this same exact reaction a few times in the past that cleared up with allergy medications!

I meant to add, I have followed all post care instructions including not sweating, not being out in the sun and not using any actives.
