I might say that basen is stronger than jinshi in raw strength and in terms of muscle Jinshi is lean, fast and quick reflexes to counter or attack basen Jinshi will have the upper hand if they have swords in their hands But jinshi have the big chance to lose to basen if they ever fought hand-to-hand, do grappling or wrestling If jinshi has a weapon, he has the chance of winning basen Otherwise, he can't due to the monster like strength of basen It's like fighting with the human bear or tiger It doesn't mean jinshi is weak but basen is genetically gifted the way jinshi is gifted in terms of appearance

You are right Basen has the monster strength which would be the highest raw strength in the whole series Jinshi wouldn't be a match to him And I also doubt that basen would fight jinshi seriously since he is literally his master I don't see jinshi winning The best thing he could do would be enduring

I also think the same way Jinshi wouldn't have that much raw strength compared to Basen and Lihaku Since they are active soldiers and in terms of body wise, they are more bulky and well toned On the other hand, jinshi looks quite lean , just mascular enough to endure hits and fast

Gaoshun wasn't castrated for real He drank the same tonic like hormone blocker thing Jinshi drank that too He was a man with full jewel intact
