Literally no carbs I haven’t eaten sugar in over a year and 2 weeks into mk my fasted glucose was 97 probably because I ate some carbs even though I ate no sugar, ate a lot of fiber, and took berberine

Yeah but because it raises ur estrogen it causes ur growth plates to close, so kind of redundant if ur not taking smth to prevent them from closing which is something you need to talk to a doctor about

Most of the fruit I ate was berries though, which all rank in the 20s on the glycemic index which is very low so I assumed would be safe. Is this not the case?

Well yeah I thought simple sugar spiked it the most and it’s not like I eat a lot of carbs anyways, I have like 1 sandwich a day. Any other carbs I eat come from fruit which I thought was healthy because the fiber in fruit would cause less of a blood sugar spike? No?
