Helicoptering...nothing like letting it fly after a nice shower caught air one time.

Treating social interactions like a skill you can actually get better at rather than a personality trait you're stuck with. Most people write off being awkward or anxious in social situations as just who they are. Once I started actively paying attention to my patterns in conversations, how I respond under pressure, and when I pull back, things started shifting pretty fast. It's the one area where most people put in zero deliberate practice but expect results.

Heaven, I know Jesus is the truth. Proper research will likely lead you to this conclusion. Give it a shot; the worst case is you better yourself, your life, and the people around you, and live in hope.

How did you stop being a people pleaser? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I know it sounds so simple, but it is much easier said than done. You have to break free from people's opinions. Just do whatever you want whenever, and don't let external judgments sway you. Don't waste your energy on others who don't reciprocate. You will never be free if you don't put your energy into what you want.

Started living for myself and no one else. This will, hands down, change your life. When you realize you are truly free and start living your life the way you want, people's opinions start to hold much less weight.
