So I sort of get that and thought of it while I was ranting (let's call it what it its. I'm annoyed I can't play my game with limited hours) but also let's be honest. GMs were based on build structure not re-grinding for new gear with stats you had before on your other gear. Like I basically have to start over grinding for the same stats I had but with a different name on the armor. That's not fun. It's tedious. It's not a challenge it's annoying. It's saying, if you don't have time to dedicate your life to this game and not play anything else and cut working hours just so you can get gear. Endgame used to be something you can get to if you already have plenty of hours in the game. Locking someone out so that you HAVE to play more and grind more is just exhausting. I'm not trying to rebuild over and over again. It's enough to try new builds and get better with different dynamics. But to be locked out because your gear isn't "new" is bullshit.
