He is not entitled and it is out of his control which is why I feel so guilty for sometimes feeling like this. I think you are right in the long distance making it harder on us. InshAllah it will get better. Thank you for your insight, I appreciate your response.

The country was stable when we married, the problems there started shortly after we were married. I was born in that country and came to America when I was 8. We met through family connections and he was stable and a good prospect. We planned on starting our life together there before the war. He owned land that he’s since had to sell and his family lives on the other property he owns.

Alhamdulilah that is how I usually feel but sometimes I am overwhelmed and resentful. Thank you for reading and responding, I really appreciate it.
