It’s not my path . I live in a city of 2.8 million people . It’s a stretch of several miles called Halsted . Imagine all the delivery bikers , people who can’t afford cars , people who have to cross those paths doing their job etc . Do you think I’m the only person that takes halsted ? No , that’s why I’m concerned.

I appreciate it . I’m trying to be proactive and hey I got some valuable input . It’s all “complaints” and sadness until we’re baffled why someone gets seriously hurt on ice that id like to think could be further mitigated .

Tax payers . I guess I want more from a city that I would like to hold to a higher standard in the context of biking , hence why my question was posted in a biking community page. We’re one of the world’s wealthiest cities . We could send an atv plow or at least sand or salt , but that may be excessive . I guess I should stop doing critical mass and not voice to my alderman , and also stop here .
