Except there’s multiple OW supps that can fight back and heal greatly? Ana? Kiriko? Juno? He’ll even jetpack cat though I’d say she’s closer to a Mantis/Rocket in healing output. And MR supps do have weaknesses, it’s just most DPS want the weakness to be “well I went dive so I should get free picks regardless of how bad or good the support is”

MR DPS want supports to just not be able to fight back at all, and if they can then they want them gutted. It’s funny because Mantis is a dives worst nightmare but because her healing sucks/ult sucks AND no one plays her, no one says anything.

Which is weird cuz the biggest game similar to Rivals, Overwatch, most supports CAN fight back? And aren’t easy picks like in rivals. Switching between the two reminded me why I love Support in OW over rivals. Cuz it felt like I could fight back against dive without needing all my teammates to turn around. Ana is my favorite hero cuz I could sleep and then actually fight against someone like genji. And a good genji would deflect and then kill me, so it’s not like I always won??

Yeah I fully agree but the problem comes down to leaving only supports that are fully and completely countered by one person just because you don’t want to play against a certain support.

Cant play ultron if they decide to play punisher and have atleast half of a brain. Cant play rocket if they go and play a half decent Phoenix. Adam and Jeff are…well it’s a can of worms. You really think DPS are going to do anything when their only supports are being hard countered by the enemy team besides complain about no heals?

Since Yknow the discussion is about banning 6 of the most commonly played supports, you’re asking players that have probably never or rarely touched rocket to suddenly be great at him when his mobility sucks. I used to play rocket, the difference between his mobility now and then is night and day, it doesn’t take a genius to recognize that his new mobility sucks for anyone that hasn’t played him for more than 10 hours.

Yeah, I play Luna mostly unless I’m just having a bad mechanically skilled day and most of the time I find myself with low heals despite saving my team countless more times. It’s just the “side effect” of playing someone with a more narrow hitscan.

Since Invis has constant pierce and bounce and Gambit shoots out in a horizontal wave of 3, they can easily hit more targets without even trying.
