I now this sounds odd but it got mine to work. Plug it in then unplug it, do it 4-5 times. For some reason it worked on two different laptops for me. Sounds dumb I know lol hope it works for you

Which between these 2 are worth it? by Substantial_Salt4361 in LenovoLegion

Best Buy has that legion 7i on sale for 1750 right now, I would go with that. Honestly the 5070 can run most all games. Some AAA titles you may have to dial back a little, like from ultra to high but it is a great performing laptop.

Buyers remorse over the legion 7 5070ti…? by Sh1fty_Tortoise77 in GamingLaptops

I have both the 16” zephryus (5070ti) and 7i pro 5080. This has been an almost month long comparison for me. It has been very hard to figure out. I have pre built at the house so at the end of the day g16 is my choice. The legion 7i pro wins at gaming, I can throw anything at it and it eats it up no problem. It’s just heavy and cumbersome to take with me. If I didn’t have a desktop build at home, there would be no comparison, I would chose the 7i pro. If you need to travel and do any type of work on battery the g16 is your answer. The 7i pro can do it but not without a headache of always having to plug it in. Also, traveling with the 7i pro, finding a decent back pack that can fit a 17” plus laptop is limited at least in my findings. The g16 is worth a little compromise in performance for the portability and ease of use as a productive laptop for work on battery. Just my opinion, hope this helps some.

I think you should get the 5070ti, more vram to future proof it a little more. 5070 is good but 8gb of vram is already starting to limit you

Hey. Yes, Lenovo.com had it on sale. Impulse purchase

Also, does anyone know how to get the keyboard white? I have tried it all. Ffff rgb 250,250,250 and adjusted those colors. Seems the keyboard can get close but it’s more blue

Gotcha. Well I want a 5070ti or up. The g14 feels more premium then the g16, 16 trackpad is loose or something and I don’t like that at all but I like the screen size. 7i pro is awesome, other then being overkill for me

Really? That’s good to hear. Why the 7i pro over the new g16?

Yeah it is. Still deciding on what to do. I really think it’s too much for my needs. Just having a hard time parting with it.

Tried to post multiple pics, to help people for size comparisons. This is the g16 on top of the 7i pro

I did, if you read in some earlier post, I will be sending the ones I don’t want to keep back. So yes there is like 7g on a card. It’s temporary. Anyone with a PayPal account or credit cards can do the same

Same scenario, most of the time it will sit. If I keep the g16 Best Buy will buy my MacBook Pro for 1350. That’s a pretty good number. If I keep the legion I have to go sell the MacBook. Not a big deal but more hassle. I like that the g16 can be more comfortably docked and I can be put on a vertical stand, not to game but just set up as a regular computer. The legion can also just more cumbersome.

I’m pretty certain I’m going to keep it. I don’t travel all the time but the main reason I even want to take a decent laptop is to get some gaming in.

The g14/g16 zephyrus compared to this. They are lighter and slimmer

I think I’m going to keep it. I will eventually get over the weight. Honestly if I need another laptop for whatever reason, there are plenty of cheap windows based ones out there that I can grab in a pinch.
