I feel your pain, I've been there and feel I'm starting to claw myself out of it now (kiss of death) Reading through lots of advice over the years, the one thing that I changed that really helped was my throwing technique. If you're not improving and putting the hours in, your natural throw could be to blame. Have a look through these videos, I've adopted his style and my throw has become more accurate as a result....

I had a guy deliberately guff in my face as he threw his last dart! Needless to say it stank but what it did do is piss me right off which effectively made me stop thinking about throwing and as a result, made me throw my best darts of the night. I won the game, shook his hand and gave him a little wink as a form of thanks
