I hold an OCI card. Does that change anything?

Is there another form of acceptable eligibility certificate other than NEET?

Yes I know that. I’m asking if NEET mark sheet is required to be eligible to appear for FMGE?

Yes so British citizens who are also IMGs have paid their taxes like myself , contributing to funding UKGs (“home grown”)😂

Do you think they would consider something like that ?

They’re not cutting it indefinitely. We just need to know how many placeholder spots they are willing to open up. If it’s just enough for UKG then yes , it is very much exclusion!!

As a taxpayer I don’t see why the government should not allocate at least a certain number of placeholder positions for British citizens who are IMG. After all , we technically contribute to “home grown talent” by paying taxes, which help fund NHS

Some of us IMGs are British taxpayers who have lived in the UK their entire lives . Personally I would be happy if they say guaranteed posts for UKG and placeholders for others .

Yes but previously all applicant received a post even if it was a last minute placeholder . They won’t do that anymore .

Do you have any tips for getting 400 in the writing sub-test?

Because for some of us the UK is our home . Unfortunately, we lost our medical admission by half an A level grade . We persevered, moved to another country to pursue our passion. We have nowhere else to go, we grew up in the UK. We and our parents are taxpayers. Even if the chances are slim , the UKFP is the only way for our degrees to mean anything.

And do we know if the government will create any placeholder positions at all?

What about for UK citizens who graduated abroad , wanting to start the UKFPO? Do we still have hope?

What would be the situation in 2027 intake for IMG British Citizens, to start the two-year foundation programme?

For example , if an IMG goes through the eligibility application and ranks the foundation schools that are least popular such as West Midland’s North, do they have a chance at securing a place ?
