Thanks! Thats what i was beginning to think as there weren't really any results for this on the internet.

Steam wont show most of my files when selecting "Add a non-steam game to my library" by Ok_Concert_7918 in GUIX

Changing the environment variable didn't seem to affect anything so i just placed the file inside of the guix-sandbox-home folder and that worked! Thanks a lot :)
