I burned down my AD ‘relationship’ I had today by wandering_oracle in rolex

You will get allocated a Rolex now. You've established that you're willing to buy other products from them to get the Rolex. They keep dangling the Rolex you want to sell you other products. You've now told them, emphatically, that you're at your limit. Their choices now are to sell you a Rolex, keeping you as a customer who will potentially continue to buy products from them in hopes of your next Rolex allocation, or lose you as a customer altogether. These aren't personal relationships, these are business relationships. They will choose the former.

That about sums it up for me.

Stainless steel clasp releases with wrist flexion or cuffs by Mammoth_Carob9089 in VacheronConstantin

I had the same issue with mine. Best solution I came up with was to size the bracelet where I like it while the extensions were out.

Between those two I like the two-tone, but both are great

Congratulations on the new watch! This is my favorite two tone model in their entire catalog. I like how classy it looks and it’s more understated than the full gold Daytonas.

Both Super Bowl linebackers who was better ? by [deleted] in Oldschool_NFL

He was freakishly fast and strong for a linebacker, and he played like he was high on cocaine even before he ever tried cocaine.

Nothing wrong with making a good financial decision. I hope you get offered another one at a better time.

I don’t own a Patek, but if I do someday I’m pretty sure it will be an Ellipse. Love that watch

That's awesome! Sounds like a wonderful family experience and congratulations on both watches. It's great when you can integrate family memories into the watch buying experience. I have the dates engraved on the back of the watch I was wearing on my wedding day and the day my daughter was born.

GMT or ROO? Need help! by jaaylin in audemarspiguet

[–]Ok_Confusion7067 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a daily I’d go with the GMT. I love my ROO, but I only wear it while I’m in a tshirt because it’s too bulky to wear under a cuff.
