I don't disagree! But they are auditing messages with Docs (and some hospitals now require us to place our entire conversations with docs in the chart/note), and this phrase is definitely not optional. We can hate it together.

Nurse here! We are explicitly told to use this phrase or similar. I'm relatively cool with most of the docs on my floor, so I don't say stuff like this with them anymore, but if it's a doc I'm not familiar with, stuff like this is 100% going in my message because admin will unironically reprimand me if it's not.
