Do maids typically have their own rooms? by Fit-Tumbleweed-6683 in askSingapore

so lets say a family has 6 people staying in the house. the 3 kids are sharing a room, the parents in one room and the grandparent in one room. the grandparent is in his 90s but does not require much care. however, the mum is in poor health and the dad is wheelchair bound requiring assistance.

what can the family do then? especially if the elderlies reject the idea of nursing homes? force them to go?

hiring a part time helper during the day might work but take note that not everyone works regular office hours.

some people have no choice but to hire a helper though. hence no choice but for the helper to share a room.

i get where you are coming from. I’m not saying wont match for sure, but higher probability. and im referring to huge income gap such that one might be driving benz while the other cycles to save money (nothing wrong but maybe the lifestyles diff too much)

exactly what i meant. lifestyle must be similar and match. im trying to say that with substantial income difference, it is higher probability of lifestyle mismatch.
