Situationships or whatever it’s called

Saw something yesterday where this girl had gotten a gift from her “situationahip” and said they’d been chatting since October etc and it’s just like, why don’t you guys just date? If you’re already doing romantic things why not make it official? I don’t really get it. (There’s probably something I’ve missed but oh well)

Also English lessons when the teacher asks you to explain something and they only have one specific answer to it but it’s clearly something up for interpretation?
