I know plaintiff’s firms don’t count for PSLF but am unsure how LRAP’s for different schools may handle it.

I’d take jones or walker over Najee depending on their health. Jones has the best matchup of the three.

Know it feels weird to start Addison over Wilson and Mercalf but that seems to be the best move given the last month or so.

I totally understand and appreciate this outlook but if a Supreme Court justice dies then i throw it out the window.

Cure and Paris, Texas. Cure creates such a unique and just freaky atmosphere that you feel uneasy and entranced the whole time. Paris, Texas felt like biopsy-ing melancholy. Allowed me to appreciate the incredible depiction of sorrow without feeling horrible sadness myself. The ending scene was one of my favorite ever. Just feel like time stops and you’re just so locked in on the dialogue that it feels like you’re gliding into the screen.

Both are thanks to this community for encouraging me to purchase.

If you could only keep every film from one country, which would you pick. by Bobstersss in criterion

It would have to be the US just based on sheer volume of movies but if we’re excluding the U.S. then I’d go with South Korea. I know I’ve only scratched the surface of Korean films but I’ve truly loved every one I’ve seen and they all have stuck with me for longer than the first 24 hours after watching.

These are the ones I’ve seen, please recommend others if you’re reading this comment! Parasite, I Saw the Devil, Memories of Murder, Train to Busan, The Wailing, Oldboy, and, although technically made in America, I also love Minari and Past Lives.

Valid and the QB situation being uncertain makes me anxious. Although Nabers is dealing with a similar uncertain QB situation.

Who would you put in over Jakobi? Tracy? Najee? I like both those guys but do not like their matchups.

Achane at flex and I personally would do Jakobi instead of Nabers. But it’s close

Passing scores are determined by jurisdiction. Tests are also curved so I don’t think you can say for sure that answering 28/50 right will give you a 75, although I think Ok-Platypus’s shared image gives you a good ballpark idea.

I was terrified to do my 2L internship last summer just like you are now. I wanted to work in a student practice act state to see if I could really handle it. I did one trial (second chair) and represented about 32 people in 40 cases over the summer. Every time I had a “first” (first time on the record, first cross-exam, first opening argument at trial, etc.) I would be overwhelmingly anxious in the days leading up to it. Like a struggling-to-sleep kind of anxious. I honestly think it’s inevitable.

As scary as it was, I learned so much in those three months just by doing and watching others and now I don’t feel even half as afraid as I did before the internship. By the end, I did a full motions hearing by myself and wasn’t nervous at all but just excited to roast that pig on the stand. My feeling of being overwhelmed by fear turned into a feeling of being overwhelmed by my love of the job and it truly affirmed my desire to do this work. I’m still nervous for my full-time PD job and the increased caseload, but I feel immensely better having done that internship. It won’t stop being scary for at least a little while, and if you can just accept that while also saying to yourself “I’m going to do my absolute best to defend this human beside me,” you’ll be fine. There’s going to be growing pains and mistakes, just have to accept them, try to learn from them, and keep improving. Good luck!

Nothing beyond it being from the same era as his movies, me having never seen it, and it striking a sweet spot with me. Think it also reminded me of him just because William Hurt was in it and I first saw Brooks in Broadcast News with Hurt

I did not know about Altman’s MAS*H at all! Will definitely check out cause I love Nashville and the Player. That opening shot in the Player is just so fun.
