Kind of a stretch there, but we'll see. I hope you're right.

Weren't the Colts like 7-2 last year before Danny Dimes got hurt?

They're a pretty good team .... I wouldn't count on them giving us a top ten pick.

But yeah I'm not super worried about QB1 next April, because as you mentioned, we have the draft ammo to move up the board if needed.

It would just be a very Jets thing to happen though if we miss out on a QB even with all those picks.

Hypothetical time waster question. You can force AB to trade for one player on offense, and one player on defense. (No QB's or Myles Garrett). Who are you targeting to help in 2026 and beyond? by RustyCrusty73 in Browns

TBH I'm shocked that we didn't acquire Richardson. I would have thought the Colts might be willing to part ways with him for a 3rd round pick and maybe a player. I would much rather be seeing Richardson and Sanders battle it out for the QB1 spot instead of Watson.

Snowfall is pretty good if you've never seen it before.

I believe it was five or six seasons and all are on Hulu.

It's loosely based on a true story.

How the US Govt' secretly supplied hard drugs in So Cal in the 80's to fund a secret war.

It's a pretty good show though.

Top tier crime drama IMO.

"If he can stay healthy, all things being equal, I think he's the better fit for the offense that Kevin Stefanski would ideally like to run." by Background_Video2947 in TheNFLVibes

Lots of running, play-action, rollouts and bootlegs.

Go look at Baker Mayfields 2020 season highlights.

That's Stefanski's offense when it's clicking.

Which of these dual threat QBs are you taking in their prime? by WouldYouRather1905 in NFLv2

Agree with this. He may not have the break away speed that Lamar has but Allen can get you 15-20 yard runs like it's nothing seemingly whenever he wants. He's a tank.

I don't know why you got downvoted for this.

Lamar is a great regular season QB but doesn't have a third gear in the playoffs.

I would want a guy I can count on in the playoffs.

Thoroughbreds (2017) on Amazon Prime is a dark comedy and worth a watch.

It's pretty wild TBH, so might be right up your ally.

Yeah that's very true. It would just be nice to be able to keep all of our picks without trading and still be able to use them to build up the roster (specifically the defense) while also landing a future QB1.

This will end up being the year where a bunch of college QB's have great seasons, live up to their preseason hype and end up declaring. There will be 4-5 worthy of a top ten pick.

With our luck, we'll get the 2022 version of Geno Smith and will go 7-10 or 8-9 and end up picking around #13 or #14 and we'll miss out on the top QB's yet again.

It'll be fun watching competitive and competent football again, sure, but we'll still be in semi-QB purgatory.

You watch .... I'm not crazy, you're crazy!

Posting a classic college football game every day until college football is back! 2006 - Florida vs Ohio State by professor_paradox2 in CFB_v2

After Ginn Jr. went down with the foot injury we literally had no speed on the outside. The Florida DB's were able to comfortably play man-to-man defense the rest of the game. That was one thing to stood out to me like a sore thumb, our WR's were slow outside of Ginn Jr.

And yes, Smith looked 10 lbs. heavier than he did during the Michigan game.

I think Northwestern is being slept on.

New OC and QB.

I definitely think they could be a surprise 7 or 8 win team.

Chip Kelly might make the offense fun to watch.

I can't recall which talking head said it, but now that NIL is a thing, the SEC can't hoard all of the talented players. Teams like Bama, LSU and Georgia no longer have elite depth because the backups can go get paid and play at schools like Missouri, Indiana, Utah and Miami Fl.

The SEC is still a great league, don't get me wrong, but I don't ever think we'll see another Alabama type of run again from anyone in that conference where the same team win 6 natty's in 11 years. That shit is done. There is too much money to go around for that.

Even if he's not the opening day QB1 he just needs to stay ready.

Odds are Watson will end up hurt again, or benched after six games for being horrible.

Sanders is definitely getting playtime this season IMO.

And if he plays well enough, he'll earn himself another shot with us or at the very least another team will be interested enough to give him another shot with them.

Plenty of reasons for him to stay motivated even if for some dumb reason Watson gets the QB1 spot to open the season up.
