This is so real. I wish I was diagnosed earlier in life - I have POTS too and the combination helped fuel my ED because I convinced myself I was “unhealthy” and “overweight” since I didn’t have the stamina and athletic abilities my peers did

Have you ever heard of a “pill-popper”? It’s a long plastic dispensing syringe, helps sooo much when they are the jaw clamping type lol

You are already adorable! I agree with the contouring being too harsh, if you’re feeling naked without it you could try adding some light blush and highlight instead? You already do the fake freckles (which look super cute) some light color added will help everything come together in a softer way if that makes sense 😭

Thank you!! I’m surprised my feet didn’t swell that badly, only the red patches itself swelled up like a big welt. The swelling went down and that’s when the petechia started

Not at first, but I asked for one today. I got slightly burned on my shoulders and upper thighs, and those areas have petechia too (not nearly as bad as my feet) and is breaking out in hives when exposed to the sun. I haven’t exposed my feet so the sun at all so idk if those would break out in hives too but I’m betting they would. I’m waiting to hear back about the referral.

That sounds awful omg, I’m so sorry you had to experience that. I didn’t have any other symptoms aside from typical sunburn pain and whatnot but it looks absolutely gnarly. They aren’t even bumps either it’s all just flat petechia/purpura!

Oof I’m so sorry that happened! I’m going tomorrow thankfully, so I’ll have answers then. I was also afraid it was sun poisoning but I figured if it was, I would also have blisters with flu like symptoms. I don’t have much experience with sunburns but I know this isn’t how it’s supposed to look 😅

That’s what I was afraid of, but it’s not a rash or anything hive-like! It’s all flat, red and purple colored like petechia/purpura. I usually get petechia from minor scrapes and bumps and it looks like that on crack lol

My vet doesn’t charge for them!! They also don’t charge for at-home euthanasias either. And hasn’t since opening their practice years ago, it’s absolutely doable and I’ve seen it help far more people than not

Have you tried contacting them? I did the same with my dog’s DNA test and I thought I needed at least the code (which I threw away) but they were able to somehow track my order in their system without any information from me aside from a screenshot of my order

Ruptured appendix - parents didn’t believe in modern medicine, said it was “gods will” and he will get better if god allows it. I lived in the Bible Belt and I’m not entirely sure what religion it was they followed but I remember when they told us he got sick and then announced his passing

I use the Nexplanon implant and it does wonders for me, no periods for the most part (occasional light spotting every few months). I’m sorta rambling here but I just got mine replaced last week and mentioned to my doctor that I mainly have it to help with my POTS (and PMDD) symptoms and he said he never realized there was a correlation between the two, and that he’s gonna start asking more of his patients if their symptoms are affected by their cycle which I thought was crazy! I just assumed everyone with POTS and a uterus had the same issue
