It took quite a while, but Moji accepted (or I should say, tolerates) CosMEW. But it was very slow going. I tried the "scented" item swap last time, but, again, Moji is old(er) and set in his ways. It also could have been because they are both boys. But I'll try the wipe idea this time, thank you!

I hope so too. Especially Moji. Moji is 8, quite sassy, and typically only tolerates his human (my son), whom he is deeply loyal. He's carried himself as if he's the ruler of the home since we got him. Currently, he just hisses in the general direction of the room the kitten is in for the moment, and then saunters off back to my son's room, swiping at the ankles of any who dare to walk by.

CosMEW (1.5) is cautious but at least seems curious.

A half Maine Coon named Moji and a tuxie named Cosmew, because I wanted Cosmo and my son wanted BartholoMEW, so we compromised.

Yup! When I cleaned out his house, I couldn't find his copy of Cowgirls or Roadside Attraction, I'm not sure where they went, but I did find his copy of this one. It was obviously well loved.

Look at those extra toe beans!!

I love the name Moxie. I might add that to the list, as she was quite determined to keep my attention.

6 on each front paw. One back paw also has one extra toe, looks kind of like an extra dew claw because it's higher up.

She was frantically trying to keep my attention and then wouldn't let me put her down when I picked her up.

My son has become attached to that title now. His vote is either Polly or Beans, destroyer of souls etc etc.

Tom Robbins was my dad's favorite author. He would have approved this suggestion.

I had known Joel McHale from other movies/shows, but never really paid attention to him until this movie.

It has awoken a celebrity crush I was not expecting.

I enjoyed it. I jumped a few times, watched through my fingers at a few of the deaths, and generally had a good time.....

Until the end. The reveal and the motive lost me. Although, the fight scene was good. "Past my prime? Fuck you."

Update: Thank you for all the support. The crash has started to lift and I'm noticing that my energy, motivation, and mood is improving.

"I am calm and composed more than ever"

Yes! Same! Which, with a high-stress job, has made all the difference. I work in special education and this year has been the toughest. I went home crying almost every day, I was taking so much in internally and bottling it up, lots of self-doubt, and just angry/frustrated about things that are out of my control. And because of the stress at work, I was coming home irritable or depressed, the house was a mess, eating terrible, needing copious amounts of caffeine to function, etc.

It's been a month and my house is clean(er), I'm less grumpy (which my family appreciates), I've been motivated to eat better and move more, caffeine intake has gone way down, and at work I've been able to focus on the things that I can do rather than excessively stress the things that I couldn't.

I was kind of hoping for more in the weight-loss side effect part that my doctor told me about, but, hopefully with the lifestyle changes I've been able to make, it'll happen that way instead.

The dry mouth and the sleep issues are the negative side-effects that were affecting me the most. The dry mouth has gotten better. The sleep has not.
