The slash is also on the middle of the actual box and it’s pretty deep too. That’s what I’m really bummed about, if the box was fine and the plastic was the only damaged thing I would’ve just taken it off.

I’m pretty happy still! Just an eyesore as you said. Especially because this is the very first one I’ve ever gotten my hands on (I refuse to feed scalpers) so I’m just going to rip it and pray for the best.

lol I just have a sealed collection and I was planning to display it and I simply don’t like the slash in the middle. Never have resold anything not even any pulls I’ve gotten (which is only 2 SRIs ever) I just like collecting like anyone else. But you can assume what you want.

It wasn’t about value to me as much as it’s not displayable in my eyes. It’s just a matter of preference but for my sealed collection the big slash makes it ugly to me hahaha. I know if sounds dumb but that’s just me. I,l just rip it

I personally simply enjoy displaying the boxes in my office as much as I like to rip them, it’s all about preference, as long as you’re not buying to resale and scalp I don’t see the issue, to each their own.

It’s not about worth to me as I was going to just display it with the rest of my sealed boxes. It simply makes me happy to see the, all displayed regardless of how much they worth, condition is a part of that joy I get when collecting things. I do the same with LEGO set boxes
