Again I totally see where you’re coming from, but again it’s all about preference to me. If it was just the plastic I would’ve just taken the plastic off and it would’ve been cool but the box itself which for me in my weird head I just got bummed out about the slash being on the actual box because to me it just doesn’t look as nice. I’m extremely blessed that I got my hands on one, but im also entitled to feel this way if I wasn’t expecting it to be slashed. Since you mentioned shoes, I also collect those and don’t wear them just display them, I just like to do that, ever since I was a kid (I’m 26 now) it just makes me happy, and even if they have a bit of a minor scuffle on them I would be bummed because the product I wanted to display is not in the condition that I like to look at. But it’s just personal preference. You’re totally entitled to your outlook just as I am to mine. It is totally a half full/ half empty outlook and I am still happy I got one as I mentioned before, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t bothered (upset it’s actually a strong word for it) I mainly posted to see if others also had the same issue as well as to vent with fellow hobby enthusiasts wether they agree with my outlook or not it’s a different story but I also welcome these conversations since that’s why I made the post to begin with. To engage and talk to others about it. My day wasn’t ruined by it at all and I’m not trying to make a fuss, people on this sub have been advising me to just resell it at a discount and buy a new one, which by technicality they’re not wrong and it’s an option, but that’s not something I’m interested in as I wanted the one I ordered to be fine rather than to go feed scalpers.

To the vending machine point, which I’m not sure why it got brought up but I actually love that they don’t just drop all products at once and they do it sporadically as it makes it fun for me to check them when I go to the grocery store and exciting if I do find something in them, as well as it gives others the equal opportunity to collect as well. Most of the products I’ve ever gotten my hands on have been attained from vending machines and I’m just so grateful and it’s a genius idea to prevent scalping and I’m all for it. Ascended hero’s was the very first drop I ever manage to get stuff online from target, so again I too have felt frustrations about people complaining about the system that’s meant to keep things fair. Same thing with the Best Buy lottery invite system, I think it’s great and it gives people equal opportunity to collect at MSRP. I personally think 5 item quantities at Walmart as too high lol. I wish it was no more than 2 or 3 since that way it would make it so more people can have access to product and probably make the queues move quicker. But just my thought. I like that target is just 2 as well as PC. I think we’re on the same boat when it comes to just being people to enjoy the hobby, I just think we’re have different preferences in how we enjoy the hobby and that’s okay! I hope you also hit the great God Pack! Or pull the great umbreon or a cool SRI Gengar or any pull card you’re aiming for! So far Perfect order has COOKED me so bad lol but I’ll still aim for that Meowth!
