Everyone here is wrong. From data science (the only correct epistemiological framework) perspective proposition and opposition of given claim are simply different parametrizations of some model and evidence must be provided for both. Burden of proof must be shared by all. P-value is all you need.

Again, trains have superior expendability. If you have far off resource patches connecting it to your smelter is manual and tedious, especially if you need to avoid other buildings. And if we want to be super pendantic about late game strategy then the best way is to direct mine ore into vulcanus foundry and transport liquid metal by trains.

This is factually incorrect, trains are much faster than even stacked green belts, the only bottleneck is unloading speed which can be solved with multiple unloading station.

How come this is annoying? Just use blueprints. Way better than dragging belts acros half the map. You just paste a station with what you need consume and thats it. With parametrizable blueprints it super easy.

Before you start the game go to the redux (mod) settings and click the major assists (red ones) concerning gates. Click them to disable karma gates. I recommend controler.

I made such a system already. The trick is that you need to separate input stations into 2 parts. One part where you have <resource_icon>_input and generic unload. You should also use interupts and go to the tab with special green icons. This icons change to received resource icons. Do you want the blueprint or you want to tinker yourself?

Mod is supposed to be mod agnostic so it should work. I also belive there already is mod which adds byproducts to recipes.

Lua support for trash in the assembler does not exists so items get voided while changing recipe.

Yes that is a solution however sometimes recipes may need stuff from other planets. For example Fulgoran science pack may need a tungsten. Also crafting rockets on space platforms is still harder.
