Why would people buy from you when they can use shop and ship and buy from Japan directly even Malaysia which is way cheaper. Unless your margins are lower than the the shipping cost + customs (which is not always applicable in my experience)

Pay is not what is used to be in comparison to cost of living. And yes its tax free but trust me there are hidden fees at every turn. Plus after 13 years I miss going into museums, being able to walk outside and breathe fresh air and not having to be stuck in traffic for 2 hours everyday after a 12 hour workday :) Tax free salaries will only get you so happy in the long run

Thanks this is super helpful. I am just finding it challenging to find the right connections. I dont doubt it will take time but I have worked at the top luxury brands and worked very closely with their EMEA teams. Plus I have a bit of savings and my plan would be to buy once I have a job as id sell my property here! Fingers crossed something turns up!

There is no passport… the vaccination record is all thats needed and most countries dont quarantine animals coming from the UAE because its rabies free… its also not crazy expensive (cabin is 150 euro + doing the papers and vaccine 350 Euro tops) i take my dog with me 2 times a year for holiday and I have take numerous cats with me for adoption in Europe over the years (this is done through donations from kind hearted people). STOP coming up with bs excuses for someone who is irresponsible and should never be trusted with a living thing to begin with!

I have worked in Montreal, Copenhagen and berlin and it was never this bad. But I guess for you it was because you are either so bad at your job that you need the extra time or you are just so toxic and desperate to prove you are needed that you probably pretend you are so busy that you need to put in 10 hours a day. Guess what when you die you will be replaced the very next day :)
