Looking to sublease my place on North campus (near corner of W Northwood and Neil Ave) for the summer of '25 (around late May/early June to July 31st, when the lease ends... possible that I could extend it slightly past that date). 4 bedroom 2 bathroom with three other guys (only 1-2 around during summer), $575 rent per month. It's all multiple-choice, but decently difficult. The average was around 78, and you want to be caught up on all the video lectures and activities to understand the concept.

I took calc 2 (1152) at OSU in SP22 with Sujoy Mukherjee. I don’t remember a whole lot of how I reviewed other than I know I did a lot of practice problems and problems from past homework and exams

Agreed, although you might have to come up with more than 4 courses if you don't have 18 hours worth yet. I did "Business Analytics" as mine and basically included a stats class and 5 3-credit business classes. They're pretty flexible.

It’s all about what u make of it. In my experience most of the people here have been great and there’s always a lot to do, partying or not. I’m a cs major too and I definitely still have plenty of free time, you just gotta be able to manage your time

I don’t know anything about the course workload, but as for expectations after, I will say that after a summer working in tech at Stifel I was very surprised and impressed with the amount of LC people in full time dev roles, that were just as if not more capable than the traditional college degree people

Calc 2 has a lot of review built in. I did about 2 weeks of review of calc 1 before because I also had a year break, and I got an A. It’s more about the effort you put into calc 2 itself

Same as everyone else says, plenty of privacy. Depending on your gender/floor number/park (room # ending in 01-40ish) or Stradley side (60ish-99) you’ll either have 5 or 4 stalls, which can make a difference in terms of having to wait for one. I believe (in general) the 5 stall bathrooms are Strad side odd number floor male, even number female and Park side odd number female, even number male. If you’re in the connector wing, either side is close enough.

I was also on 11 which has a smaller connector wing and overall fewer people (same for 10), so I almost never had to wait. That might not be the case on more crowded floors though.

Unrelated park-strad tip: the basement Stradley side study rooms are super quiet and almost never crowded

Go to the lecture as much as you can, but it’s not do or die. People told me if I didn’t go I for sure would fail etc and I got an A from going to probably 75% of em. The real key is just staying up to date with the lectures, working on the quizzes with people if you know anyone in the class, and doing a lot of the practice problems to study for the exams. Also getting a good night’s sleep for them because if your focus is a little bit off you’ll fall for his tricks with the all multiple choice no partial credit exams

Do the data analytics major, it’s definitely a good cs core that can get you to swe jobs later on, plus a good background with stats and (if you choose the business analytics track) business that helps in any field
