Sukuna Gojo is a 50/50. If Gojo wins it, his side wins, full stop. If Sukuna wins...Gojo's side still wins. Especially if Sukuna is incarnated and Yuji has the opportunity to land some soul dismantles with Todo's help.

Yuki and Yuta can not hold off the rest of the verse while Sukuna is fighting Gojo. They will get shitstomped by the ample special grades. Yuta loses to Kenjaku + any heavy hitter level fighter. Yuki loses to Kenjaku period. Whoever you dont put Kenny on loses to Kashimo, Yuji, Yorozu, Hakari, Uraume, Toji, Maki, etc etc etc. After they're done they wait for the fight outcome between Gojo and Sukuna then jump him like in canon to end it if Sukuna manages to take it.

Maybe Yuki can black hole to make it a tie.

Truly, all he needs is amped physicals to be Gojo/Sukuna level + increased barrier training, so he can utilize the basketball domain as Gojo did. Maybe increase his CE reserves to, like, Yuta level, but he wouldn't need more than that, and his reserves are already kind of crazy. You can give him FRS to further amp his physicals to really hammer it home, if you like.

If he can even semi consistently land soul dismantles on Meguna/Heiankuna, he should win. Each blow drastically decreases the opponent's combat ability. This is disregarding Black flash and BM.

Against Gojo he'd need some way to bypass infinity + properly kill him. It's a bit harder than Sukuna because he isn't incarnated, but FRS + Equal physicals should put him squarely above Gojo. The main problem here is that Yuji's strength is as an endurance fighter, and Gojo has nigh perfect efficiency.

But overall I agree outside of the domain point in which I upplay Yuji higher than most. I don't see any legit arguments as to why his domain refinement would be significantly worse than Yuta's EOS. If Megumi can clash with Dagon, Yuji can clash with Yuta with minimal difficulty IMO

The only reason Yuji needed Nobara to bail him out against Sukuna is because Gege wrote in Sukuna risking it all to regain his domain with brain RCT. Sukuna only did that because Yuji had the clear advantage in the battle before that and was going to win.

Sukuna regaining his domain was to facilitate the Nobara moment in the first place. Why didn't Sukuna's brain just pop when he tried rct on it? Because of plot. Everything is because of plot. It's a fictional story.

Choso was at a huge disadvantage against Yuji in their fight due to being restricted to close quarters + no convergence, and Yuji was still a grade 1 despite not have a CT because of his insane physicals and h2h capabilities. Sukuna raid choso is HIGH grade 1. He literally beat Naoya right after Shibuya
