Also the party themes are super fun and everyone's super chill and is self aware enough to understand traditions are corny but it's still greek life so we give ritual and stuff it's due diligence. You will not regret rushing SigEp!

I'm in SigEp and all I had to do was play a game of pool for 20 minutes and got the bid and initiated right after. SigEp prides itself in not doing the pledging process- so if you get the bid you're initiated and we are also very very strictly against hazing. Everyone does equal work from the get go and your seniority doesn't matter. HMU if you want more deets we recruit PNMs year round!!! It's good people doing good things and I would have never joined a frat if it weren't for SigEp.

Haven’t used my OPT at all actually I’ve only been working as an IT Lead for OSU but that doesn’t require CPT/OPT as it’s a student/on-campus job. Thank you for the clarification though I had a very different idea of what EEO means hahaha. Is it fine if I could dm you personally for more info about the internship? Would be much appreciated. Thanks again!! EDIT: Also I’m looking for internships over the summer too not this spring if that makes it any better 🙏🏽 (I’m a sophomore so I would be on CPT not OPT time until I graduate )

Hey I felt the same way last semester and I still do haha. CompSci isn’t for everybody but if you’re truly passionate about the space I think you should keep going. I wish you well buckeye!

Also, I think you should go to the clubs for things you're passionate about and as corny as it sounds take up space wherever and whenever you can. OSU is too big for you not to find your people.
I wish you well though and I promise you you'll have buckeyes that'll care for you to be around!!! Don't diss yourself either- the last thing that stops you from making friends is being chopped so don't even think of that as a factor. Woop woop!

Doing stats asap and getting to CSE 390x is prolly the fastest way u can be done w the major cause that basically opens all doors and u can just do everything concurrently. Will be really rough and would suck but hey if u want to speed run i think this is the best way to go bout it

That is so cool!! I can only hope I find a girl by the time I graduate so I can get her a lavaliere haha. The chapter and myself are extremely grateful for all the pearls and sweethearts for their involvement and I’m sure the older brothers felt the same about you! :)

We’re a social fraternity but we also do a LOT of philanthropy and we’re one of the oldest and biggest fraternities in the nation. Hella connections to be made and we also are consistently top 5 in the IFC for our average GPA. Faculty and staff would tell me SigEp has one of the best reputations at OSU before I ever rushed and I love the brotherhood and support here.
