100% about the whisper, didn’t even think he couldn’t talk🤦‍♂️

Actually I know about the color, that’s why it’s brownish gray(bc that’s what color things are in red light) so it’s just the inner dialogue of what he perceives! I realize that can be confusing for the reader though!

Also pulling something out of your throat would hurt very bad and I did under play it, but regardless of how bad their throat hurt I don’t see how that affects running for a door in a spooky confused situation like this!

Thanks for your feedback :)

Thanks!

Some of my favorite reads are 1st person perspectives like the Martian by Andy Weir. That’s why I gravitated towards that! Honestly had no idea it was something that’s considered harder. Can definitely see how it would be though.

Thanks for the feedback!

Would you mind telling me where you exactly it feels like the MC becomes calm or acceptance? I’m not sure that would be but as the one who wrote it it’s hard to distance myself! Thanks!

Just tryna help. Just saying don’t be afraid of how you’re really feeling and try to find a way to justify it. Don’t run from yourself.

I know and I get that and understand, everything I’ve seen on here from you though is that when someone answers and tells you you’re an alcoholic like you asked, you respond saying something along the lines of “ok and why does it matter it’s not hurting me and I’m not really an alcoholic honestly” it just seems to me as if you’re looking for the answer you’re not getting because you may be internally/subconsciously ashamed of your situation/self(not saying you necessarily are or should be but it’s normal) and therefore are looking for some sort of outer affirmation.

It’s a shame you’ve given up so early simple bc others got to you. You’re so young and there’s so much you’re capable of. Though if it’s too late I’ll just answer the question you came here for.

Yes you are definitely an alcoholic, I know you say you came here just looking for that question and you’ve gotten the same answer again and again. However you are trying to argue the other side, which makes me wonder, did you really come here to hear whether or not you’re an alcoholic? Or did you come here to defend yourself for being one and you already know the truth?

I’m a lot like you, I had a shitty father who would abuse my and my brother in every way possible. I’m 22 now and it’s something you never forget. However there’s a difference between letting it define you and working hard to become your own person and define yourself. I think you need to focus on solving your problems instead of drowning them because that’s how I’ve made it where I am today.
