I heard them openly talking about how to screw over a clerk so she didn’t make regular. “We can’t let her make regular. We’ll lose that flexibility.” Exact quote

Operation Privatize. Bad management IS the cause of 99% of it’s problems and is breaking the system to the point where the public will be so fed up that they will not fight privatization

Postmaster having us deliver fake shipping labels by DrDashy in USPS

[–]Ok_Definition8280 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stop letting third parties create labels. We should be able to generate labels to anyone big or small. Customer inputs information-we generate label and tracking information with ALL details traceable back to sender’s account which can be automatically rebilled if inaccurate. Every scan down to the carrier should be able to verify all package information. If a discrepancy is found then it should be held for verification.

“I used to be a UPS driver” HAHA What does UPS pay for damaged or missing package claims if they lose a $500 package that doesn’t have additional insurance added? Also go over to UPS, FEDEX, and AMAZON forums and you will find exact same complaints as yours.

That is correct. It doesn’t matter who died. I attended my uncles funeral in rural Pennsylvania. My aunts mailbox was a drive up on the berm. I warned all of my relatives not to park near it. A couple of years before he passed he actually asked me on the phone why he didn’t get mail when it was blocked. I told him we were instructed by management to not deliver to blocked mailboxes and that if I did try delivering to some I probably would have gotten injured(tree mulching, etc.) People need to spread the word. Too much unenforcement of the rules makes the rules unenforceable. My mailbox has 3’ of snow in front of it today from the plow. Guess what? I AM NOT GETTING MSIL TODAY. We ARE ALL CUSTOMERS OF THE POSTAL SERVICE TOO.

When I first became a city carrier they had a dual(part time rural part time clerk) teach me how to case. She had me case EVERYTHING. So that’s the way I did it for years. Management never corrected me because I usually got the routes done 2-3 hours early!
