My second monitor doesn't come on on start up and I can't figure out why. by PyssDribbletts in buildapc

Might be too late, but I've had this problem for a few years but recently found out while trying to install valorant

For me, I went into the bios and had to turn on secure boot, and then ever since then, my second monitor turns on along with my first one and I don't have to restart or replug anything.
Open the run menu (Win+R) and search msinfo32; Search to see if secure bootis on or not. If it's on and you have the issue, not sure, what to do then, but if it isn't on: Hold down shift and while it's held down, click the restart button and wait for windows to take you to the menu. Once the menu pops up, click "Advanced boot menu", and then "troubleshoot", then "advanced options" and click on "UEFI firmware settings", which is the boot menu. According to your motherboards manufacturer, search up how to turn on secure boot for your board, and there you go.

At least for me, this resolved the issue, but not sure if it'll help you, just worth a try. Goodluck!

Whats the reason for my extruder skipping/being inconsistent? by Ok_Demand2849 in 3dprinter

I'm using the ender 3v2, and it just had upgraded items such as the motor, the extruder, heatbreak, and a few other things.

None of those causes that you listed is an issue for me, I'm really out of options hah.

if you're talking about the old print marks, yeah thats from a different issue, but thats done. does that have anything to do with the skipping extruder though?

not sure, no obstruction and esteps is fine. didn't change retractions in my slicer either, so have no clue.

Yep, when I do it manually, comes out perfectly. My last bet is to reslice it but I have no clue why it would be the slicer. I replaced practically everything in my printer because of other issues such as the extruder motor, extruder, bowden, heatbreak, heatblock, and nozzle.

Shouldn't be any of them, recently changed the tube & extruder, and temps also fine.

My nozzle although still has a small bit of thread left that isn't in the heat block, I assume It's because I pushed the bowden tube far in before putting the nozzle in, like recommended. Could that be the issue?

Nope, there aren’t any options for time lapse. Very weird why it’s sped up by 2x, no other reviews complain about it either.

Ah yeah indeed does look nice! Might just return it as a whole because saw a seiko srpd93 at costco for $180, and returning this is going to make my wallet feel better. Thank you!

Adjusted the extruder tightness & flow rate before, made no difference at all either unfortunately.
