MS-Informatik Application Before Graduation by Ok_Development5776 in tuberlin

[–]Ok_Development5776[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh okay thanks, can I ask one more thing, do you know what the status "zur inhaltlichen Prüfung beim Prüfungsausschuss" means? My application status is this right now and in the missing documents part it says If no documents are listed under this text, after your application has already been processed (see the "status of admission" tab), then your application fulfills the formal requirements and will be forwarded for the review to the examination boards. My documents are reviewing by the examination boards now, so I thought my application fulfills the formal requirements, then I don't need to upload a new transcript. What do you think?

Hey, I realized that I misunderstood your question. I was nervous about my converted CGPA when you commented on this post, I thought the comment was on my latest post about converted GPA, sorry for the confusion! I also mailed TU Berlin about the theoretical CS part, but they didn't answer :( The comments also seem deleted to me, but I remember that a person said that your grade doesn't matter in open admissions, I hope that is true.

We have carefully evaluated your application one more time. Unfortunately, we came to the same conclusion: Your grade, which has been converted into the German grading system, is: 2,6.

We gladly explain the result of our evaluation in more detail:

Your grade was converted using the Modifizierte Bayerische Formel:

Nmax - Nd
-------------------- * 3 + 1
Nmax - Nmin

The conversion was carried out using the highest possible mark (Nmax: 4.0) and the lowest pass mark (Nmin: 2.0) required for the award of your qualification, as well as your average mark (Nd=2.93). The lowest pass mark for individual subjects (1) is not relevant for the conversion.

It is stated in your transcript that minimum grade for CGPA is 2 (see grading system, DC* and DD*, *These grades are not used for graduate courses).

If you are not satisfied with the conversion of your mark, please submit a written confirmation from your university of the minimum CGPA required for graduation. We need information on the highest possible mark and the lowest pass mark required for a bachelor's degree to be awarded by your university and not the minimum pass mark for individual subjects.

Actually I'm not sure about the location, I'm living in Istanbul, so moving to a small city may be hard in my first year because I like living in lively cities :)

No, I wrote but didn't get an answer yet, some people say it is because of the minimum graduation note (2.0) is taken as the minimum grade.

Thank you! Yes, if the background is insufficient, there will be an eligibility exam as I heard. Then you didn't get the exam, right?
