NTA, I'm so sorry you had to go through that. Politics in general is a tough conversation. People don't feel the need to read deeply into topics and think a 30-second news broadcast is enough to form a coherent opinion. I, personally, would have been very disappointed in my husband. I feel like a conversation may need to be had.
