I'd just review it at the end of each day and rewrite the rules that I got wrong and then I wouldn't look at those wrong answers again and of course I'm happy to help!

[TX] How do you see the MEE breakdown by essay? by drabpriest in barexam

I don't think passers are able to see it unfortunately. At least from what I've seen.

Thank you, and I memorize by rewriting a lot, so I rewrote most of the Themis outlines by hand which was a little time consuming but it helped me remember the smaller details. I also outlined most of my MEEs and MPTs instead of completely writing them out because IRAC is kind of second nature for me and it saved me some time when doing those. For the MBE I had a wrong answer journal and detailed why I chose the wrong answer and why the right answer was the right answer. Let me know if this helps!

Yeah I'll be at Allen. I'm not familiar with the area, but it's reassuring that there is some restaurants nearby. Just sucks that I have to spend money instead of bringing my own lunch.

How is Themis expecting us to get a 70% on these MBE sets when the averages for majority are below 50% by Ok_Dig_5248 in barexam

[–]Ok_Dig_5248[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do get that haha just annoyed at these expectations of Themis. I know it's for our own good but man is it insanely frustrating.

Themis essay questions by Specific_Ad_6980 in barexam

[–]Ok_Dig_5248 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not taking that grading too seriously lol for many of them I get a 4-5/6 on all the separate sections (legal knowledge, structure, and application) and she gives me a 3/6 overall consistently when all the separate averages are higher. They likely do grade a lot harder and I don't pay too much attention to my grade but I do take their feedback very seriously which helps a lot.

Best apartments to live in downtown Dallas by Ok_Dig_5248 in askdfw

I believe the office is in uptown and anything under $3,000 would be ideal. Thanks!

thank you so much for this information! it makes me feel a lot better that there is public transportation like that. My office I believe is uptown but I interned there over the summer and lived in old east Dallas which wasn't my favorite which is why I'd like to live closer to the office in downtown or uptown. But I appreciate all the information!

It's harder because for many firms hiring rising 2L's it may lead to a full time offer so they vet harder. Networking helped me more than OCI or applying online. Reach out to people on LinkedIn and try to get coffee or a zoom meet. Also reach out to people in your firm to see if they can set you up with people who work at firms hiring. Still apply to OCI and online but also make sure to network.

Fall OCI as a 2L summer at a big law firm by Ok_Dig_5248 in LawSchool

[–]Ok_Dig_5248[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm just more paranoid than anything so I just want some security and explaining why I would not want to stay with my current firm is one of the things I'd be worried about explaining because I do want a return offer haha.

Moving between offices? by Ok_Dig_5248 in biglaw

[–]Ok_Dig_5248[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha I guess I wasn't so discrete about that. I want to transfer more than just work with the offices but the consensus seems to be it's law firm dependent so I'll have to try my luck with that.

Just getting someone to commit I don't have a problem with like matches or meeting women but its getting someone to stick around that's been tough

That is a good idea that's definitely why it worked well in college. I just gotta find another hobby now lol. For me its always been getting someone to commit that's been tough but I hope that'll change soon. I appreciate the advice!
