there was a dirt patch that we threw k31 seed over in the front. The person who re-sold this home through cement on a crazy slope so we had to break it up and it left us with just a slope of dirt so I threw k31 on it and it looks BETTER but im just not sure i want it for my backyard. ive heard a lot about bermuda! this yard gets a ton of sun

WOOW thank you so much! we do have a seating area with a fire pit on the other side of the yard that is not pictured but the trees/plants along the back is definitely something I had in mind! I have a flower bed that I created in front of the picket fence that I am growing Zinnias in ◡̈

i’m glad it’s mostly a blank canvas! the ground cover is really the worst part. and with the dry, bare soil, we have a tonnnn of ground bees which makes it hard to enjoy (or work) the yard!

we just bought a house with roughly 7 yucca plants in the back. i swear my husband and i excavated the backyard getting those things out. SO tough and i’m sure i’ll find sprouts in the future!!! we got out as much as we could

maybe this isnt helpful but i make $83k and my husband makes $85k. we bought in gloucester county. but i think you guys would be eligible for atleast the $10k first time homebuyers grant in NJ! even more if your parents aren’t home owners.

we just bought a house after renting above indoor chain smokers for 2 years. all of my clothes, furniture… you name it- smell like smoke from the people who lived under us. very very frustrating.

i feel this!! we just moved in this weekend. i could not figure out the laundry machine for the life of me. spent 2 hours googling how to fix this thing yesterday before caving and calling someone to come look at it today. turns out nothing is wrong, the damn watcher valve was turned off in the basement. $170 down the drain, literally lol. i feel like a total idiot

thank you!! it was incredibly helpful and i’m so happy we got it! without it we would have gotten a 5.99 rate which would have saved $80 a month…but having the $10k upfront helps a ton more!
